Got a text from this number on 15th April offering me delivery that date or two alternative dates, but I haven't ordered a router or anything else from O2.  The only thing I've ordered was a bed, and I spoke to the company I'd ordered from - it definitely wasn't from them.  Strange.

'tis O2, but they really need to get a name in that message, I got all excited thinking it was my TV that was being delivered!

i've never actually heard of this number and neither have our broadband department. the only thing i can think of is that a courier service is texting out but its definately not supported by o2. I wouldn't reply to it, if you want to arrange an alternative date for your delivery, always call o2 directly

I received a message today about delivery of a "parcel" with 3 alternative delivery dates.  No company or courier name attached.  Looking at the above comments I am intrigued.  I am not with O2 and I have not ordered anything.  Might dodgy I think.

I received this text message from +447786208222 today first thing in the morning. It says " Your SBE Limited parcel no. xxxxxxxxxxxx will be delivered on 16th Sept by DPD. To change date TEXT 1 for 17th Sept,, 2= 20th Sept., 3=21st Sept." Now I have no idea what SBE Limited or DPD stand for, and I have not ordered any parcel nor am expecting any delivery. I have arranged for my laptop pc to be picked up from home for repair and was told I would get a text message from the courier before they come to collect it. No comparison between what I am expecting and what I have received by SMS. I also do not have any connection with the sender +447786208222.

I didnt order anything and I received the same message?

It's DPD the delivery company

Uh, I got exactly the same text and I'm expecting a delivery in like 2 hrs. I have noo idea what is gonna turn up since I haven't ordered anything from anyone recently and I'm not even with O2... interesting..

I have a text but it says it vodafone but i've not ordered anything and nothing has turned up!

Vodafone also use this number for deliveries via DPD (who I suspect are the ones who send the message, hence it being somewhat generic).

"Your Vodafone parcel XXXXXXXXX will be delivered on 9th Jul by DPD. To change date TEXT" et al.

Message from 02 to work phone (which is vodafone) telling me my order will be delivered by dpd on 16th August. Contained an order number & went to dpd's site to track - nothing found.

Seems to be legitimate for DPD, was not expecting a courier delivery and on checking the tracking it was a parcel delivered to West Yorkshire.

I live in Kent and have to take it they have a wrong mobile number.

I've not ordered anything an dhave been receiving lots of dodgy PPI texts lately.  Another scam I think...

I have just recieved message stating " your Ingenico parcel .............. will be delivered on 14th Nov by DPD. To rearrange Text" 1 = deliver to neighbour 2 = 15th nov 3 = 16th nov"  I have ordered nothing from Boots or O2 as others quoted but am waiting for 2 pieces of equipment for my business but have no idea who this intermediary is or why they don't identify themselves
