anyone know how to stop these parcel delivery text alerts? I've tried to halt them before - am reluctant to text the number as am sure they will charge. can't find out which company is behind them.

Got a message yesterday saying that my parcel has been dispatched from a toy shop.....i havnt ordered anything!

Received this text this morning.

What a nuisance as I am actually expecting a parcel in the next few days and thought this meant I needed to wait in today. Guess it's a hoax which happened to catch me at the right time >.<;;

Received the exact msg today. Like Moggie I'm expecting a parcel so thought this might be it.

Tried calling the number but there's a recorded message sayiny "the number you have called has not been recognised."

I wouldn't call or text it as it's deinitely a hoax.

I got the message below yesterday saying that a parcel from Grasmere Limited was due to be delivered and giving me the alternative date options.  I looked Grasmere limited up on the net and gave them a call.  The confirmed the delivery was an order I placed with them via ebay for 2 tables.  

They apparently use Interlink to deliver their parcels so I would imagine this was from them.  Whichever way, in my case it is a genuine message.

Text of message:

"Your GABLEMERE LIMITED parcel will be delivered today. If you need your delivery on an alternative date reply to this text 1=4th Aug 2=5th Aug 3=6th Aug."

Even I got an SMS from this number, saying exactly same lines.

I am actually awaiting a parcel, so if this is fake, it is disgusting.

The message talks about some LOCKWOOD SPARES LIMITED parcel.

This number should be reported and this person/company should be apprehended

This is legit - I ordered some trophies and was told if I put my mobile number on the form I'd get a message on delivery day.

Those not expecting parcels have probably just had someone put their number down wrong by accident.

I ordered a wheel from lockwood spares unlimited via ebay. The text came as the parcel was delivered!

Only wish it was more specific, as i am waiting 3 parcels and didn't know which one was coming!

I got a message today but I've not ordered anything. I looked up the order number (on the website of the company mentioned in the text) and found it had been delivered on the day it was promised. fortunate for them, not so great for me :(

This is a legitimate company/service. Ordered some dresses from Coast and in the text message it said my coast delivery was due, to rearrange text 1, 2, 3 etc.

Received Message on the 2nd April 2102 - Your Astra Ltd parcel is due for delivery by you Interlink driver between 08:00-18:00. to change the date TEXT 1=3rd Apr 2=4th Apr 3=5th Apr. As far as I am aware I have not ordered anything nor do I kno who astra Ltd are!

Also received similar message. And 4 others on the same day but from different numbers, saying about parcels from Amazon and Kigomo Express. Do not expect any parcels!

Legitimate number. Its from a third party who arranges deliveries between companies like Amazon marketplace (in my case) and Interlink. I had a text about an order earlier, and it arrived on time.

Your parcel is due for delivery today between 11:13 - 12:13. to re-arrange TEXT 1 Deliver to Neighbour 2=11th Dec 3 = 12th Dec.  When I contacted the company from whom I was expecting a delivery, they knew nothing about it!!!!  Beware.

Received a message at 8:12 saying your parcel is due for delivery to day 8:33-9:33. with various options. Did not text bact as when I tried to call the number was advised the number had not been reconised..
