- J| 1 replyThis number is calling me while i'm in america and i keep getting charged for it!
- VThis number also came up on my bill during the time I was in Spain but my bill showed I had called it. At exactly the same times I had apparently received a call from my own mobile number. Some of these calls appeared while I was on the plane home. There is no record on my phone of me making these calls or receiving them tho, they only appear on my bill. No idea what it is though!
- CarlamThis is the O2 voicemail number. It calls to tell you that there a voicemail messages
- elieser| 1 replyThis number came on my bill too and l was chaeged for it during my holiday in cuba ,,How can l stop it next time?
- HelenMe too!! I was in Croatia recently, received 4 calls all of which I unanswered, they didn't leave messages, and this number appears immediately afterwards on my bill, which has made all of the calls appear now appear on my bill as dialled out calls!! I'm furious!!! O2 are having none of it after my complaint...
- alessandrai was in Brazil and now that i am back in london i can see in my bill that i have made calls to this number, but i didn`t.It`s very strange because i tried to call it but the number is not recognized
- JamesI had a call from a friend, didnt answer it, but got charged £1.20 for calling this number, at the same time, but i never made the call!
I will complain when i return home (in Kuwait). - Steve DYou will find that O2 are very clear about voicemail when you are abroad. You will be charged not only to receive the call (even though you didn't answer, it still counts as a call as it went to voicemail) and to call the voicemail serviec. The way to avoid it is to switch off voicemail before leaving the country (1760 on O2). All this is explained on the O2 website. You won't get anywhere with a complaint as it is all in their terms and conditions.
- ShaneIm having the same problem with this number over 10 times in the space of 3 weeks... worst part is I wasn't even in mobile phone range at the time when I supposedly retrieved the voicemail messages. Again O2 say there is nothing they can do about it so i've lodged a complaint, cancelled my direct debit and have told them im not paying the Bill until the matter is resolved. I'm sick of companies like O2 throwing their hands up in the air denying everything and raking us for all we've got!
- glyn replies to eliesergo too ur supplie and ask for the cut off department when they ask why then u tell em the reason and eureka u will get an appology a cheaper tariff and get rid of the annoying message cheers glyn
- JulieOMG thanks a lot for the advice. I am just sick of all the charges I ve been charged. It costs 25GBP to learn about it. Now I understood how providers are making money...
- Caller: O2
- mariare phone no 07802091901 i was billed for this no in turkey if not reimburst i am withdrawing my acc from 02 i am fed up with rip off britian and company.s who don't care about there client's
- deeI have just been charged £20 by O2 for their voicemeil service. They say it's my fault for not phoning them before I went or looking at all the little tabs on their website. They will not reimburse the money and so after 15 years of being a loyal pay monthly customer paying £50/month, I am leaving them!
Beware of legal scams like this. And above all, cancel the voicemail service before going abroad by dialling 1760. - CarolineI just got "got" by O2 for a flat £1.20 PLUS the per minute charge every time some scammer conencted to my voicemail (but didn't leave a message) while I was abroad. I contested the £1.20 flat charges and managed to get them all creditted back as they aren't published anywhere on their website.
Left a bit of a sour taste though, and I'll be switching off voicemail before I go away next time... - AlexeyYou can avoid these costs. Divert all calls to voicemail or switch on O2CallAlert by calling 1710 – it will send you a free text when you miss a call. When you come back to the UK, you can switch back to voicemail by calling 1750.

- TOM| 1 replyThis is a tracking number by security agents. To check your phone dial *#61#. To delete tracking dial ##002#
- Caller: 07802091901
- Miss E CampbellRepeatedly had this on my phone, who is it?
- Ed replies to TOMTom, what do you mean security agents? I found that *#21# shows no forwarding but *#62# shows that number 07802091901. The code ##002# deactivates that as you said.
Is this a scam or what? What security agents? How they can add this? - post pending moderator approval
- E. SmithThis was cal forwarding my calls.
