I think I may have the answer!!!!

I called their FreePhone number (0800 694 3328) repeatedly throughout the day and asked to talk to the Team Leader. After about 12 calls my calls were being automatically terminated before they got to the very annoyed operator. I assume therefore that I have now been added to a blocking list to stop me calling them. As I have had no calls for a week now, I presume that their blocking also blocks their outgoing calls to me. Hurrah!!

They've called me 3 times this morning, each time they start to speak then they hang up. Surely this is a nuisance call. I can't believe how much time they waste doing this. Can't we report them to the police?!

This practice of calling my number which is ex-directory is a complete nuisance and frustating . I have previously had calls from the 0800 694 3325 .  How on earth to they get these numbers to call anyway ? No one at the company will answer my questions.

Called at 10.15 asked for myself, I advised that I was the babysitter and that I wouldn't be home until after 6pm.... Received a further call at 10.45 again asking for myself, I told the Welsh guy that I have already told him once that I wasnt available to speak to and to stop calling, received a further call at 11.15 so i googled the number and came across this site.... This is beyond a joke

These guys have been calling me for over a year now, ive tried being polite to them and ive tried being rude, nothing works they will not get rid of my number.

About the only thing we can do to stop this happening is report them to the ministry of justice.

A typical money grabbing company abusing the very law they are registered with! Most of the time the number is withheld! I researched the caller ID and finally came up with a lot of info, so please use it to abuse these "b*****ds". THEY ARE CAUSING NATIONWDE HARROWING HAVOCK, breaking the law and must be removed from business. The recent lost government public records, I believe are in their hands!

The 'Advice Centre' rang my mobile and got nowhere, the guy said !"I can help you..." I said "Get lost...." he rang back and I put on the Alexander Meerkat answerphone.... didn't call back after that!

Yeah, just had one, automated message about debt consolidation in twelve months, "press 2 if interested", I thought OK will do, check it out, straight through to an operator, who immediately wants personal info about you. I then said who are you regulated by, "the ministry of justice" the reply, have you got a website I can look at, "no" the reply. Where can I find further info about you I asked, "well we have access to financial advisors..." then the connection was cut, almost as though someone else was listening......what a surprise...

U better check your phone bill. If they called you on your mobile, it would have cost you to receive the calls..

I have had texts from 07760 372381, saying text back yes to get your compensation claim for £ XXXXX

I have just had a call on my mobile, and the number left was 07595 870801 they said it was Tom from Consumer Compensation Service and he gave me a land line number in Basingstoke which was 01256 411328.
When I eventually found out what the scheme was I told him that he and his kind were a nuisance, and that they should neve call me again. He then said that as I was so rude he would pass my number to "everyone" and make sure I got loads of these kinds of calls. When I speak to his boss eventually I suspect he will be looking for a new career!!
The original text message came from 07517 563292 and is apparently sent out by Affiliated Marketing Services.
