I got a call from this number but since I never pick up calls from unrecognised numbers, I let it ring out. They did not leave a voicemail message. A few minutes earlier, I had received a text, apparently from the Telegram social media platform, containing a five-digit access code. I suspect that this number may also linked to Telegram, and is used to send out automated messages containing access codes, or something like that. I do not have a Telegram account myself, but I suspect someone was trying to associate my mobile number with a Telegram account.
