Repeated calls from a Lee brewer , Chelmsford Essex
William h brown sequence.
Tried asking husband for fees upfront for a mortgage , Used a gmx email to provide mortgage documents instead of William h brown email.
Constantly calls to see if want to go ahead.
Do not deal with this person very unscrupulous character.

Had this last thursday but on a different number wanted us to pay via paypal?

This person called me 3 times asking whether we had paid into his paypal account, he introduced himself as lee brewer, further digging we found he works for william h brown this is sequence in chelmsford essex
I believe.
He said in order to provide the mortgage specifics we required he would have to bypass william h brown and utilise a different company to accomodate us...all very cloudy, no confidence in his offering and was finally put off by his tone pestering us not to approach william h brown direct and pay into his paypal account.
He has stopped calling us as I threatened legal action.

This is the same guy I just called "William H Brown" chelmsford they confirmed he actually works there.

He is doing deals behind his companies back by the sound of it, Am going to report him.

He is Lee Brewer , Mortgage sales manager at william H brown Sequence Uk Ltd, just searched.
Does his employer know whay he is doing??

My experience with this person goes as follows: we we approached by someone at William h brown in chelmsford in regards to a possible mortgage.
Just so happens my partner and I were going to to be looking within that month so very good timing.
The service was good until our application seemed to be transferred to a setup or company called Lb mortgage solutions?
We went from dealing with I believe a mark to dealing with a lee brewer all somewhat confusing, he said that William h brown in chelmsford where out application was submitted could not offer what we wanted an he transferred our application to his own mortgage search setup, he said that his name was lee brewer and lb mortgage solutions was a private entity to William h brown and we should now deal with him.
His fees were ridiculous and wanted us to pay a fee upfront for arranging the lending.
My wife called the branch in chelmsford and they confirmed he worked there.
I'm now under the assumption he is double dealing from the place he works.
We have been bombarded with cold calls and add on products and overall feel harassed from a very unprofessional setup.
We decided to pull our mortgage from another lender and have cut all ties with this lee brewer.
I shall be putting a complaint into management at William h brown and making sure he is uncovered for what he is doing.

My sister in law had a few calls from him, she lives in chelmsford.
He called one lunchtime an she told him to p... Off, he then got extremely rude and nasty down phone. She passed phone to me and he cut us off!
Absolute scammer . I aint from essex so googled office in chelmsford from the details people have posted and asked for him, he answered and then denied being lee brewer. What a bell.

Ha ha I've had this call from a lee brewer in Colchester is this same guy? Told me he was based in coggeshall? Also has another number 07812209649

I think you will find he is the area mortgage manager for william h brown. He is not based out of any particular office. He covers about 13 branches including Chelmsford, coggeshall, colchester, Ipswich. Sounds like he is up to no good. This Lee Brewer shouldn't be flogging mortgages down the 'phone in any case unless there is an existing relationship, but with no pressure and full consent at the minimum:

He could struck off the FSA's list of IFAs if he's on there and fined £££££. If he's a salaried employee of William H Brown they could be fined £££££

Very strange he couldn't use his work email, I think his work email is lee.brewer@sequencehome.co.uk. When you take a mortgage out through sequence or w h brown their are regulated by fsa, if lee is doing mortgages on the side you need to make sure he or his company has registered with the fsa. The reason he is not doing anything through William h brown is he is taking all the commission from the lender. Normally he would receive a standard 10% commission and w h brown would get the other 90%' so you can see why he is trying to keep william h brown out of the loop. Not sure william h brown will be to happy with him. Also is he charging you the broker fee?

I dont know what is going on but i am a close friend of the Lee Brewer you refer to. He is as straight as they come and i know why these comments have all been made. I suggest they stop. Rest assured that these comments are all false and being typed by the same person. The company have recieved no complaints even though there are many threats to do this. Disregard all the comments that you have read.

I worked for this disgusting company for a few months - the pay is about £12k a year and you sit there from 9am-6pm with an hour lunch calling people asking if they are buying or selling a house - you then have to try and sell the company to them and get them to come on the market with you - the management are rude and have no care in the world - the office is disgusting - everyone is in it for themselves - I can't believe I lasted that long in there - do not sell ur property to Connells , brown and merry, William h brown, fox and sons, Barnard Marcus or any of the other agents that fall in to sequence category! Stay away from this awful awful place
