I had msg left from this no asking me to get in touch with Royal Bank of Scotland as they suspected fraud had been committed with my account.

Have had 5 calls in the last 2 days purporting to come from RBS from 08000234540. The say someone has accessed my account, checked with the Bank, it is a fraud.

I withdraw my previous message, the call was in fact from the Bank fraud squad. I called about the wrong card when I checked with the Bank. Apologies. There had been a fraudulent purchase on my card which the Bank stopped.

do u mean the phone # is a fraud, or it is genuine & that ur bank has spotted fraud on ur account?

Check with your own RBS branch regarding this number, if it is a genuine call they will confirm if it is their fraud dept telephone number. Numbers to call also available on RBS website.

If anyone frome the above no telepones you  ignore them .Get in touch to   with rbsbecause the phone caller is trying to get yourbank details to fraudulenty access your account .as happened to me this morning  21 april  .but they did not succesed

This number called and said it was the RBS FRAUD dept. And to press 1 to continue

This is a genuine RBS number

I contact RBS online and opened up a chat conversation.  They confirmed it was one of their fraud line nos made from a genuine phone line.  The other number is 0800 011 3512 where you can report a fraud. Might be 0800 011 3312 but it is easy to check on line.

Automated call to my home number from RBS fraud provided my daughters and something along the lines of suspicious transaction with her bank card.  Looked up RBS online and found a different number to call and I messaged my daughter. She confirmed it was RBS that had blocked a holiday transaction going through on her card. So this was genuine but I wouldn't recommend calling a number back, go online and get a contact direct from a genuine website.

Just had a call from 0800 0234540 saying that they were the RBS fraud team and there had been some suspicious activity on my account. Somehow they managed to send me an RBS activation code, which they asked me to read out - I declined and ended the call. I then called RBS directly and was advised that all was well with my account and there was no suspicious activity detected. Clearly an attempted fraud!!

Yesterday I was called by this 08000234540 Saying is the bank RBS and they’re asked me for my security details but l refused to give them and l drop the call

Just spoken to the Royal Bank of Scotland, who these calls pretend to be from.  They confirmed that this IS a scam and most definitely NOT the RBS Fraud Control Centre
