claims to be calling from Virgin Mobile (I would not confirm any details as unsolicited call) would not say what they were trying to sell me just kept wanting to know what phone I had. politely said no thank you/goodbye

These guys keep calling, have number blocked and don't answer unknown callers

Caller with strong Indian accent calling himself "Richard" claimed to be from Virgin Media.

Thank you for answering this query.
However, as another poster has suggested for your company's sake, something needs to be done about the style of these calls.
It is the 1 st of November and the number has rang 8 times since the 24th of October. It has also rang twice on the same day and the day after when I actually got to my phone and told the lady, that I was unsure she was from Virgin. As far as I can establish new rules of cold calling say there must be a period of 72 hours between calls and the phone must ring for 15 seconds, both which are not being followed.
To have a foreign sounding female voice ask me immediately for my address and post code, is not acceptable. She is totally unable to tell me anything that can prove she is from Virgin; and why when I have a phone with Virgin, does she ring me on my mobile which is nothing to do with Virgin.
Even if this was a scam I couldn't be rude to the woman as she could be trying to support a family in the 3rd world, with the only way she can; but she wished me a good day and I wished her one too.
If you are going to continue with this, the caller must give you some proof that they are Virgin.

I asked them to answer a couple of MY security questions.
When they fail at the first, the last two digits of my post code. I tell them they have failed my security questions . Therefore I think you are scammers. Hang up and block their number.

I am with virgin,  but they still ring me on my mobile when I have told them I am satisfied with the phone I have,  and the contract that I am on and please don`t ring again.  They have rang again but I didn`t answer this time

I keep getting this number ringing don't answer if it is virgin already told them im happy with my tarrif please stop calling

Genuine from virgin to upgrade my old box.

I have missed several calls but I can confirm it is VirginMedia/Mobile I recently requested a sim card due to a change of phone. I  had received a message telling me they would be telephoning me. This was the call.

Just had a call from 08000521251 stating she was from virgin media it got onto the subject of what movies do i like then she started asking how many kids i had what they like watching and was more bothered about my kids etc so i said thats irrelevant  when your supposed to be calling about my virgin media then she asked me the same again so hung up and blocked thr number.

Caller hung up as soon as I answered.  Strange.

I just got a call from this number ( they hung up )

This number has called 4 times since 3rd September. I have blocked it as the caller asked me for information I would not give anybody over the phone.

The caller has just this minute called again!!! So that is three days running now!!

Claims to be Virgin Mobile with a better offer.  When I told them I already have a good deal they hung up.

Just had a call from these people, answered and someone was singing down the line then they hung up,If this is virgin they are a disgrace

They tried to ring me as well over an order they refused to go through

And again they have tried to ring me i have a blocker on my phone so only phone numbers in my phone can ring me!
If they keep on im going to report the number to virgins txt number and tell them to stop trying to harrass my virgin sim with useless calls
