its the Northern Ireland Housing Executive,this is the number that comes up when they call you from their office, replying its too an answering machine, ya would be advised to contact the district office that is dealing with any inquirey

what is it that they would be phoning about?

it maybe for housing u want or something like this nothing bad i no tht,, :)

It's all the NIHE offices right across the country

Not sure if anybody else has as many problems with the NIHE as myself but, every bloody week they send me a letter regarding Housing Benefit, for years they have harassed my family and when we eventually get whatever arrears they seem to find they suddenly send another letter claiming my benefit has been checked again and they have found that my entitlements from three to four years previoudly should have been reassessed and suddenly I find myself £3.000 to maybe £4000 pounds in arrears...its like living under Gaddafi.  

This has been an ongoing situation for ten years, we went to a Solicitor a few years back and it stopped for about a year but they are at it again....has anyone else found them vindictive, manipulative,downright liars.....

Just had a rude call from this number and then they just hang up. Tossers

I've just had a call from em from this number telling me they have received sum certificate for me for housing benefit for my new address, I'm not moving or have not recently moved. When I rang back to see what was going on, there was no record of me being fone and nobody asked seemed to know anything about it or who would've rang me....very strange

just had a call from them myself. i live in private accommodation which i'm buying through a mortgage.
They're idiots.

Had a phone call from this number y'day so looked it up NIHE ....... phoned them up today and they have no record of ringing me

I have had 4 calls already this morning from this number I attempted to call back but got a message I would be charged 14p per minute (on an 0800 number?) clearly a scam as I never done been in contact with NIHE before.

My 85 year old dad has had 2 harassing and rude calls from this no. regarding his heating system.  They are as good as threatening him if does not change to gas!
