Its annoying to get charged when you know fine well you never used or subscribed to these conning companies!!!!!!!
- Alan Cope| 1 replyI received an unsolicited text (60199: Freemsg) on the 19th July saying I was subscribed to My Tech Alerts cost £4.50 per week until I text STOP to 60199 Helpline 0-800-098-8510. I immediately did this I and received a reply saying that I had unsubscibed.
When I looked at my T-mobile bill I saw that I had been charged £4.50. This is theft. It is fraud. How do these companies manage to exist?
I eventually managed to contact my network provider (T-mobile) who initially said that I would have to contact the company and discuss the matter with them. I told them that I did not want, or feel obliged to do this. It was there problem as my service provider and I took/take great offence at them allowing money to be fraudulently added to my T-mobile bill. After asking to speak with the supervisor my operator eventually came back to me and said T-mobile would refund the amount and put a block to such companies contacting me again.- Caller: My Tech Alerts

Consumer Support Adviser" - anne replies to Kitty| 2 repliesI have had 2 texts from 60199, yesterday, and was charged £3:75 + VATso I called Vodaphone, who have blocked them from contacting me and reimbursed me with £5:00 . It has been suggested the number may been hidden in some Android app, and got to your phone through that. I have also text stop to the number and had a message back telling me I had unsubscribed .
- istanbrookThis seems to be the offending "Battery Upgrade". It was offered by a banner in the Angry Birds game.
