someone keeps phoning me and says that my computer has been reported because it it slow
and causing problems for other users and wanted my passwords so they could correct the problem
i put the phone down and did 1471 and it was 08001 just these 5 nombers
has anyone else had this.

Caller I'D showed this number but when I answered no one spoke.

i got miss call off 08001 scam i say .

Just had a call from this number. No-one there, the line went dead after about 15-20 seconds.

I've had loads of calls from people telling me that my computer has loads of problems and they want to fix it.

What they are trying to do is get me to download some software that will enable them to hijack my computer. This software is legitimate software that is freely available online and used mainly by administrators and IT technicians to fix computers within a particular company or on a network.

I usually string them along for a bit. Had one of these [***] on the phone for almost an hour once! Good times!

08001 phoned us again this evening. The very foreign sounding man asked to speak to my husband about quotes for solar panels. Previous calls from this number have either been dropped calls or someone twittering on about computer problems. SCAM!!!

My caller said they were a people search company looking for abdullah razmuzan

I have a caller number display and when I get an 08001 number I do not pick the receiver up.
I also have an answer machine and if it is important then they can leave a message but they do not

I had this too them stating they are from talk talk same reasons given broadband slow because of hackers who could or have gained access to my computer they also ask if computers on wanting access to it and con you into giving them access they then ask for a payment to solve small amout but dont give then your deatils its bound to be a big amount they go for and rob you . I range my phone and broadband supplier who state it is a SCAM and that phone company never calls you or ask for access to you computer. Since then A lady called tried it again I stated I had the scam before and called phone company she just said to me get lost twice the accents are of asian or similar on both accounts and certainly both men and women scammers. Since Iv had harrassing phone calls from saME NUMBER  and when I answer they put phone down each account I found number as there none to clever as they think. This is the scammers number 08001804321. So  08001 dodgy numbers.

I wish the government would do these bxxxxxxs, they've rang us loads of times same special deals, NOT, they don't give the name of the caller either, BIG scam folks

08001 310606 called today offering free hearing test. How do these people get my name and phone number when we are ex directory.

Don't answer scams calls & they charge you to answer your own phone yea right about time governent put a STOP to it !!!
