Calls twice, no voicemail, blocked this number!

Rang back on landline.  Voice message said it was the sales team at Virgin media.

An Asian call center going by the female accent  - If it is Virgin, they are a Pain in the backside.

Yes, this is Virgin.  Be aware that they may be persistent in offering unwanted upgrades.  They persuaded me to upgrade to a new Tivo box and said I would be able to copy over my old recordings.  This turns out not to be possible unless you keep renting the old box as well.  I only found this out after the new box had been fitted! They also said I was entitled as a loyal customer to "free" extra sport and cinema channels (despite me saying I don't watch sport or cinema).  These extra channels were provided nonetheless and I was charged for them straight away!  It took a complaining phone call to Virgin to sort this out.

This is yet another number that is pretending to be from VirginMedia.
Best to tell them to piss (whoops - sorry) go away and block if you can.

Yes, this is definitely Virgin Media calling from India/Pakistan, telling us how they want to arrange new package to give us the ultimate viewing/broadband/Mobile experience!  I'd rather watch paint dry than have a conversation with these people.  Why don't Virgin Media realise just how much we hate being bombarded with unwanted calls EVERY DAY?  Enough!  Plus, if they returned to U.K. Sales teams they would do more business,  as I truly cannot understand a word they are saying their English is so bad. Sorry, but if you are doing business with English speaking customers, you need a very good command of the language to stop frustration setting in!
