This is a letter from Credit Consultants who do the credit collection for Wilson Parking. They describe the letter as designed to attract attention. I called them, as the bill had actually been paid, and they acknowledged it was sent by them.

If these letters are from a credit company for wilson parking, then i'm a purple bunny rabbit.  i NEVER park in wilson parking, i park at home, at work and at the mall for well within the time limits given.  and yet i got this letter not to where i live (house is under my partners name not mine), but at the house i own.  I waited until late at night to ring the 0800 number from a blocked landline and surprise surprise it went straight onto hold music, no message, no "we'll be with you as soon as possible" nothing.  I am destroying this letter and any future ones I get like this as NO credit company is afraid to use their letterhead or to say who they are and why they are sending mail,  To those who have posted saying this is legit, hmmm do you work for them?

I just got a letter passed to me from my former addy. I called them and they didnt pick up and i left a msg as I had no idea what this is about.

I wish I googled this earlier!!!

DAMMIT IT

I just received a letter in the post. Addressed "to the occupier" but with my name and please telephone this number and ask for Alex. I will NOT be calling it! I don't owe anyone and yes, a debt collection agency would send letters on their letterhead.
I am thinking of calling the police or maybe fair go?

It's legit. Co is Credit Consultants. Debt collectors. Vodafone bill that was under dispute. Very professional.

That is a crock. A proper credit agency will send a letter with name and address etc and the debt that is to be collected. there is a proper reference number as well as the amount of the debt and recognisable phone numbers.

Umm yes they do, most people don't want bad credit ratings. I would much rather a legitimate letter explaining the reason. Much less likely to reply to this.

Got a letter 'To the occupant' asking if I know "so n so" and to call 0800 222 378 for assistance, no explanation whatever.  They seem to be hunting down someone.  So I did not respond, of course.  Who are these people approaching people in this underhanded way?  Very dubious Debt Collectors?

to the occupier...an address the letter arrived at ...then in huge print ;;;should you  know  ,then larger print is a persons name. then asks  the occupier to  telephone  0800222378 and ask for assistance...THERE IS NOTHING ELSE ON THE PAPER IT WAS PRINTED ON... I WOULD CALL THIS  INTIMIDATION   . the person on the letter is in the phone book  and doesnt owe money,  the person on the letter is off work an has been battling suicide for the last 6 months....THE LETTER JUST PUT THERE ANXIETY THROUGH THE ROOF!!!!!!

Ring them back hundreds of times and hang up they get to pay fir the call !

Ive worked for collections in the past and i know if they have not been able to contact a person a please call letter is sent to the occupier and does not contain a letterhead to get the debter to respond and i would contact if you have a dept or not. It could be someone has ranked up depts in your name. many companys go to collections rather than chase up un paod bills avoiding may see the total tripple with interest.
