No idea but constant calls at all times day or night as earlier as 7am and as late as 10 pm

calls at all times of the day.wish they would stop.

People keep calling, all times of hours ,very annoying!

When you answer there is a recorded message saying "This is the Nationwide Building Society" inviting you to press any key - which I did not.

Automated call, left a voice message: "Hello. This is an important message for <Alexander Bell> or <Mabel Bell> from <Nationwide>. Please contact our 24 hour automated service on <08004643136>. Again the number is <08004643136>. Thanks". We contacted Nationwide using another number and it turned out to be a genuine matter relating to an unauthorised overdraft. The call was genuine but there is no option to put the call type as genuine and the choices such as debt collector, survey, telemarketer and so on are not appropriate descriptions, so I have left the type as unknown.

There were two calls. I answered the first one but heard an automated voice, which I didn't trust so I put the phone down. The next call went through to voicemail. It is likely that the automated calls would have continued trying until we responded, which might account for the "calls at all times of the day" which others had experienced.

I am receiving on average 4 calls a day from this number.  They are starting to affect our decision making when answering the phone.  When I answer they claim to be from Nationwide who I am no longer banking with.
