This is a scam number. Don't know how they got my name.

This is a scam. Beware. DWP confirmed they did not ring.

Where do they get the info from ?

I received a call from DWP after I had put a question onto my journal she phoned with the answer. I kept my cards close so she would have to let me know what I had querried and she provided answers. No details apart from basic check taken.

So you asked them to call you with an answer and they did.  Then you went and looked the number up even though you knew who called and why they called?  What reason was there for doing that?  Also, how about the post on July 21st that says that person called this DWP and they told him that they did not call and that it was a scam?  So, why should we believe you over that person?  Especially since you have absolutely no valid reason for being here?

Got a call left a message but I do believed it's a scam there's no such DWP number.

Scam call received on 18 September.

Called me, all numbers not saved to my phone are blocked from calling me. I can’t answer the phone anyway due to mental health issues I always google any number I don’t have and all I can find is people saying it’s DWP but why would they call me? I’ve had no letters (I’m on disabled for physical and mental issues)

To day I received a call from number 08006404999. I didn't picked up the receiver. Do you know who called me. Thanks

The deposit hasn't got a free phone no even .08006404999.IT'S A SCAM DO NOT ANSWER THAT NO

This is a scam number
Got called last week from a woman
Saying she was doing a review
Only asked address
Then reeled of last 4 numbers from isa account
Then proceeded to ask me for my bank card number in which I declined
I was in a panic and upset and she knew it
On conclusion of the call she said you will get letter as they need bank statements
So a letter did arrive on Monday asking for info
Fake letter
No n/I number as my ref
Just a long number
Can’t get through on the number provided
Dwp logo looked faded and photocopied
The brown envelope it arrived in didn’t have Dwp on the back like my usual letter
Been reported to the police yesterday
And got a update from a officer who called me personally and stated definitely a SCAM
So be vigilant

i got a call from this number tuesday just gone they give ya mixed signals on google am in bits just dunno what to do or think if it's legit or a scam

It’s a scam number and I had a awful experience
Filed with the police and esa had not contacted me
Be very vigilant and call dwp to confirm it’s fake

This number keeps coming up on my phone but the phone doesn't ring because I think BT are blocking it

Is just someone from the jobcenter, It’s valid because I had an appointment today booked at my journal...

They called due to the change of my circumstances. Word of advice use your journal to ask questions to confirm genuinity
