got a call from this number and trying to find out who they are

I'm also tortured by this number, no idea who it is.

This is the Government calling about either your job seekers allowance or your unemployment benefits.

They phoned me about a ESA claim. Totally legit number.

It is ESA, the Employment Support Agency. I got a call from them yesterday as I have a benefits claim in process from them

08007830251 is the Employment Support Agency. They would call you regarding your claim for benefits. They only accept claims over the phone, there is no office for interview, they interviewed me over the phone.

is this because you have been put off esa  very confused,

Phoned the number and got the ESA had tried to get in touch with you excetera. However I phoned the ESA to check what was going on I don't have a new claim and the one I do have is still on going. Having checked through my notes there was nothing on them for this recent call, so it's unknown to them

Had missed call from this number. When I rang it bk seemed to be from Esa.  But I rang Esa on number I had in my own contacts for them and they told me there had been no outbound calls made to me.. And if there had been they would leave voicemail..
