not sure who this is but harrassing. i ignored the call n they phoned straight back. each time i ignored they phoned again. I have 9 missed calls!! really at 9.30 on a saturday morning do they not know people work and like to sleep in.

I think it is Severn Trent Water. It is the number we phone when the drain is blocked

I got one of these calls today. It was an automated call from Severn Trent water letting me know of works in the area which may have affected my water supply.

Just had an automated message from them, sounded legit, Severn Trent Water.
Explaining that work has been carried out in my postcode area and need to run taps for 20 mins just to clear any residue.

Not Spam. It's Severn Trent. I reported a leak on the road and they phoned back to confirm.

Called repeatedly 9 or 10 times. I didn't answer and have now blocked them.

Severn Trent water keeps phoning me. It's an automated message. I don't even live in their area!! It's been going on for ages. It's driving me mad!

08007834444 is i understand severn trent ringing to inform the water supply is low or fixed. At 9.30 pm i wouldn't pick up phone from an unknown number. If it is important why doesn't severn trent leave a message instead of just keeping ringing until someone picks up. After 4 times they rang in succession they just didn't ring so message not received anyway.
Severn Trent change your call method just leave a voice mail with info

This number belonging to Seven Trent called me, when my answer machine kicked in ........ they cleared! Very Suspicious!

Called at 21.50 ... disconnected when answer m/c cut in, leaving message ‘Thank you for calling’.

ST water message, a very poor way of contacting customers, they should give the reason for their call straight away and not asking you to press and connect, it feels like a scam.

I had a call from this number tonight. I didn't answer the phone and they didn't leave a message, so having looked the number up on here and seen people commenting that it's Severn Trent Water, I had a look at their website.

This is actually the same number that you call if you need to contact them. I phoned them to ask why they had called me and they told me there was going to be a short interruption to my water supply.

Just four rings then the call ended before I can reach the phone. This happened at 7:59am and again at 8:47am. Although there was no message I was able to lookup the number which appeared to be the Severn Trent water company. Checking my water supply I found there was indeed a low pressure problem. Looking at the Severn Trent website showed there was an incident in my area: a burst pipe (7:42am). I realise the company has a lot of customers to call and warn so I'm grateful for the two missed calls.
