It's a LLoyds TSB number I had to call when my account was blocked

Does any one know if this is genuine Lloyd tsb frauds operations number.

My Internet banking is not working.

Yes - it's a genuine Lloyds TSB number.

Something happened to my online banking & so they suspended it.

They phoned my mobile to inform me but I missed the call so they sent a text message quoting this number to call back on.

I did that and all was OK & my online services are back to normal.

Read on Facebook that this is a dodgy scam phone number trying to extract security information out of you

It's a facebook scam. A scammer called Quyen Thomas has blagged 37,000 people (and counting)

That person you've named is posting a lloyds letter to say beware of scammers !

If you called the number on the letter, I have news for you. I just had a look at the banks Fraud Departments web site and the numbers it has is not the same as on the letter

It's lloyds fraud department.Answer when they call you .U might be victim of fraud. I have been victim of fraud and they refunded all  stolen money from my account .

This is Lloyds fraud phone line.  My account was suspended due to some online activity and when I tried to log in it said to call this number.   Had to wait on the number for over 20 minutes until answered due to high caller volume but they were able to sort out the problem and reactivate my account.

Its a scam number FRAUD do not call it call the number on the back of your card instead
My partner received this letter today and all looks legitimate. We were very suspicious so instead of calling the number provided in the letter, we googled number of Lloyds bank and spoke to their fraud team.. THIS LETTER IS A CON!!...looks 100% genuine. They want you to call the FREEPHONE number provided as one of THEIR people are waiting on the other side to collect your private information that you think your giving for security reasons. It's not just Lloyds, they are targeting everyone with a bank account. If in doubt...find out your banks number through the Internet/phone book NEVER use the number they provide in the letter. Be careful, don't get caught out, these con artists are out to catch you out!!

This number IS Lloyds...It is on their web site and I have Just rung them to confirm that it is....
