i just had a call from these people and while i was on the phone i looked up the telephone number and found all these comments so he was chatting away about some lottery syndicate while i was reading all the comments, and before he even asked for bank details i asked him how im supposed to pay for it as i dont have a bank account, he got me though he said how do i do online shopping (i had already answered yes) so i hesitated and asked him why did he want to know, he said well you cant do online shopping without a bank then it hit me... my father, i said i shop online through him and his card and with that i said i'd have to opt out as i cant pay :D phew thank god for sites like this i cant imagine all the poor people that get conned out of this

I had one missed call, answered the 2nd call at which point they hung up on me, third time I answered and when they finally spoke i was abrupt and said what do you want, a man with an indian accent starts to speak, and i repeat dont call me, stop calling me fro India. He gets al defensive, 'why u think im calling from India?' and starts blabbing on about rich indian businessmen and how the UK is in recession and cant afford IPhones or something along those lines... i kept saying what are you trying to sell me and he hung up!

So not only did they call me 3 times when i finally answer and resolve the issue he hangs up on me!!

it would make sense  that its on behalf of a mobile phone company with the mention of the IPhone.

oh man i m not alone i just get call from that number tell me i m win some iphone and bla2 sound like she african and ask for some ueromillion chance before i m curious but after they ask about bank detail i m start worry and just cut the call what a stupid people they think they was clever enough to steal some money from other

They keep calling me on a pay and go phone that has no credit - when I answer it hangs up - I believe that if you answer you will actually be paying for the call!!

received a couple calls each day for the past 4 weeks, never picked up as new it was a caller service and couldnt be bothered to deal with them. rang them back today and dialled   8009886111  and left my name and tel number to take me off their records! hopefully this works else next time they call they'll be getting an earfull!

This number has called me twice now in the past 2 days.I never answer numbers I don't know and I NEVER EVER answer calls from 0800 numbers.  I googled it to see who it is and it says other complaints have been made about it. I can only imagine they got it from a form I've filled in on another site, which is f***ing annoying because I always tick the box to not get contacted by other companies.

Iam beginnin 2 get worried now bowt these calls as have ans them on mobile & have seen comments on ere sayin u pay if u ans call. Hope this isnt true & nor is it scam wen u ring bk the 0800 no from a landline. There r far 2 many scam companies doin this & its only since use the net have been gettin these calls The are manipulative & sorry but am puttin it mildly P**** takers!!!!!!! Its unbelievable how many r about & they shud b stopped b4 the con ppl outta all there muney by gettin hold of personal info such as adresses, dof b & ask 4 bank details. Wateva u do DONT give them any info. I say if they do ans if u dont kno my details then am not goin 2 tell u anything!!!!!

Got a call from an african lady telling me that i won ten thousand pounds so i hung up

Had one of these calls from a South African guy called Michael. He said he was from DTTI??? and then hung up........never heard of the company but I hate random people calling me asking me how I am before they introduce themselves.

I keep getting silent phone calls 3 or 4 times a day on my mobile from 0800 988 6006.On ringing the number the recorded announcement says it is from EURO CHANCE 100. Their web address is http://www.eurochance100.co.uk and are reachable at

I have reported this number to Ofcom who are willing to investigate. They have explained that these companies use speed dialers but do not have the staff to respond if the calls are answerd. Ofcom say if this practice of silent calls are over the limite then the company can be fined up to £2 million.

called my house phone, said something i couldn't work out, I sid I'm sorry and they put the phone down!

I receive up to 4 calls a day requesting me to call a 0118 number.  Please do not contact me.  This is getting rather tiresome

Similar to other posters I had a call from these guys yesterday and they said they were form DTD and I had recently entered a competition on-line.  I have to admit I have entered a few and he read out my DOB and asked was that correct.  I said yes and then the line went dead.  They have called twice since then but I havent answered.  I rang the number from my land line and an automated message said that they were from Euro Chance 100.
