Missed call on my new (ish) mobile number....no businesses should have it yet. Another poor excuse for a scam possibly?

Had a call from this number but nobody there when i answered. Probably a call centre...just a nuisance.

Ignored call, it rolled to voicemail, no message left. This number fairly new to Google.

This was apparently to inform me that as a member of a fairly long list of banks (where I am not a customer) I am entitled to a PPI refund. Except I don't have an account at any of the banks. And I never purchased PPI.
More than slightly irritating ...

It's a compensation claim company, automated message with the option to press a number and talk to one of the unoriginal, money grabbing tossers. If you cancel the call quick enough their automated rubbish will be left on your answerphone.

Exact same as per Eileen C who posted about 25 minutes ago.  Being added to me 'Do NOT Answer' list of callers.

Constantly calling my work number - nobody on the other end.  Irritating beyond words!

They've called me from this same number but with a different ending digit and now they've strated texting me saying that I have a PPI claim and to reply with "POST" so they can send a pack out to me.  Total scam.

It's a bunch of idiots telling me about PPI.

Just answered call. One of those annoying machine voices says you've been called about your life insurance (American accent). I hung up.  Getting fed up with this and the PPI calls

Called me to get a callback for life insurance, so glad I have my ppi ignore list

Just had this number ring my wife's mobile.. then within minutes it rang mine once.

I now let all numbers I don't know go to voice mail. If important they'll leave a message.

Yup. These jerks seem to be on the prowl tonight.  Blocked the number.  Why is this kind of thing still legal?

Just had a call from this number they calling everyday I have now put it on my caller reject list after reading all the comments

just constant missed calls, they dont let the phone ring long enough

If I don't recognise the number, as in this case, I don't answer until 5 rings plus. Their automated systems usually give up after 4 rings.

Another cold caller -automated and the message says "talk to one of our advisors or let the Banks keep your money" ! ! !
