Apple call to fix a iMac problem - £5.60!  was on the phone for 1.48hrs.  :( still got a problem!  agghh

I've just googled this number and come to here.

Shocking.

I Called Apple support about an issue with my MacBook, I was on the phone for 10 minutes and 38 seconds and it cost me £3.50...... add that to the other couple of calls i had to make when i didn't even get to speak to an advisor and i still got charge almost £1.50 for each of those calls, and that was just to listen to an automated system! I Will not be calling this number again soon, thats for sure!

i was told by my telephone company who was selling me some more products that these numbers were not included but then went on to tell me I could google sayno then the number i wanted to call then get the local one ....but have not found that to be the case!! so will still need to call that 0844 number!!

My son rang apple care 0844-2090611, it was about the new iphone4 problem on it, they were very helpful but it was also very expensive & I have to pay the bill....... Apple should be an 0800 no. or 0845 no?????????

Why dont you try 'say no to 0870' web site, its brill for finding alternative, local or free rate calls

Best way round it, it to call your local apple store, which will be a local rate number. Then press option 2 which will take you through to applecare for no extra charge.

I bought a new Mac Mini and had problems with the Apple migration software. Was on phone for 1hr 20m and it cost me £8.40. Not exactly the 90 days of complimentary support I thought it would be!

Bought an iMac with a problem and was on the phone for more than 30mins  for Apple support and got charged for £6.99....seriously????  Apple can't provide a free Customer Care???

Called this number and was on the phone for 23 min 51 sec. Still did not answer my question. For a company who sell technology, they have a very slow process. How difficult can it be to reset a password??

I cant see that they keep you on the line to make money, £0.05 per min is £3.00 per hour, who can work for that? They are just not very good.

Apple Support, more like bloody robbers - £13.00 flipping pounds for calling them, my son had a problem when he downloaded IOS7, the call took so long and my purse is hurting!  It is disgusting
