This company sent me letters about products I hadn't purchased at an address I hadn't lived at for over a year after the alleged purchase. I was worried about fraud so I called them to get further information. The call to this number cost me £21.72, including O2s 55p per minute access charge, and they couldn't provide me with any information whatsoever. Whether it was fraud or not, I was still completely ripped off!

Domestic and General insurance for Beko Washer. What a screw.

I had a letter saying my Beko warranty was close to expiry. My washing machine had just started playing up so I called them to see if I could get it fixed under the warranty. After a lengthy phone call it turns out the warranty had expired a few weeks ago and I ended up with a £15 charge on my mobile phone bill.
I usually check numbers on “Say No to 0870” But was so pleased at the thought of saving money on my washing machine repairs I just called the number on the letter ... lesson learnt!
And why do all kitchen appliances wait until just after the warranty has run out before they malfunction?
It’s as if they know!
