They defrauded many a client and resurfaced under this name.

You can verify this by looking on who calls me website and by inserting the phone number 0151 229 1910 right up to 0151 229 1920.

How these people can steal monies from clients and continue to operate is beyond me.

I'm also a platinum legal solutions victim.

It appears Paul Keegans father is the owner of the business now probably to disguise of their new fraudulent venture or maybe to due to the fact that Paul Keegan has a long crime history and is not elligible for a licence.

I am currently receiving very good information from someone close to the company.

You only need to look at the DOB of the director Edward Keegan on one company he is 2 years younger than on the other company. Quite laughable how he can have 2 DOB"s.

Do not deal with this company you will regret it. Please contact office of fair trading who will confirm to you all about platinum legal solutions which went down with tons of money owing for monies they never paid to clients.

Have also had a call of these people when I said I had no debts they became abusive do not want to leave details in fear they may call back.

Glad I came across this thread was just about to call them back over a 22k debt.

Can anyone advise of a reputable company who I could use ?

I am an ex employee who was exploited for slave labour.

We're do I start, was told on target earnings 30k was lucky if I was paid £150 per week asked why I wasn't getting taxed apparintly I was self employed but yet wasn't told.

My job was to canvass business out of the yellow pages for the sales reps to go and visit there job was then to exert as much money as possible out of them, a lot of the time we we was told to take any type of debt on even if company had liquidated.

This place was sheer hell the phone would not stop ringing with clients wanting to know why they had been ripped off. They would laugh at them and hope they would get feud up of ringing.

The business is ran by a Paul Keegan his father is a director as he has a criminal record. I was told by staff in there that he has also in hiding from his previous company Platinum Legal Solutions Ltd. it seems from what I am told he ran with a lot of people's cash.

The staff who work for him find him a liability and can't say I spoke to anyone who had good to say about him in there. However i wouldn't trust any of them from top to bottom.

Apparintly as his accounts are due rather than pay tax he is planning to just reappear under a seperate company.

Struggles to pay his staff not to mention monies he collects for clients but doesn't tell them.

I am a victim also of Mercantile Legal, Paul Keegan or Paul G-Day as is on his business card.  What an absolute rogue.

Please report any info to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 they will go through what has happened on the phone, no need to fill things in on the internet.  Please call them we need to stop this awful man!!

Paul Day is non other than Paul Gavin.

These people are scammers who set out to charge as much up front fees as possible.

Not only that you are lucky if you get your money back as a number of clients have attended the offices as they found out Mercantile had collected their debt.

I just came across this after a web search, I recently sent these people £2100 after a cold call, can I assume now that I have been done over? I feel utterly sick now. I spoke to this Paul Day man

Had this company come to visit me in my home tried to get payment, I refused and said I needed time to think about it as £900 was a lot to pay upfront. Guy was pushy but did leave, feel completely violated that they're a scam, rogue, crime committing company that came into my home. Thank goodness found this website before paying or signing. Hopefully they won't come back I have reported them.

Hi I have read all these posts. I have been in touch with several organisations the Action Fraud seems a pointless exercise. I have emailed the OFT as to why they are issuing credit licenses to a organisation of individual they has been reported to the AF. If multiple people complain they will act so email enquiries@oft.gsi.gov.uk, put there licence number 649761in the subject bar and describe them as being oppressive, deceitful, unfair or improper (whether unlawful or not).
I made the mistake of thinking the OFT license meat something and used this to check up on them.
The OFT at least they respond.
