I've just got a missed call off this number. I'm on this website quite a lot too searching for numbers of nuscience calls. I've got to the point that if an 0845, 0844 etc number rings me i just silence it unless i'm expecting one to ring, but they ALWAYS ring when my daughter has just gone down for her nap so i've had to put my phone on silent around this time which i shouldn't have to do

Yep, twice today, 1st time just let it ring out. 2nd just hung up.

08450268990 this number is phones4u head office i answered it today and got a contract with them its worth answering

its phones4u they rang me 3 times a day so i answered it eventually and ive just got a brand new contract phone so if ya lookin for a contract phone i,d answer they have some really good deals

Persistant calls 3-4 times a day from Phones4U after I checked on their website to see if i was eligable for an upgrade, from numbers 08450268990 and 01782483600.

Only got a call from this number 08450268990 once and its phones 4u.

It's phones 4 you, I had a missed call today & ive just rang it back and i got an answer phone message saying "you have a missed call off phones for you no need to ring back we will contact you in the next few days."

I have had a number of 0800 calls recently. i  misstakenly answered one but it immediately began ringing them so I think the idea is to call you and get you to phone them back so you are charged a high rate. b I find it extemely annoying and intrusive.  It's bad enought that my e-mail account is bombarded with trash now i am getting it on my mobile as well, there should be a law against it!!!

"one of your friends has been in for a spending review" this might be rubbish it might not, whats to say they dont copy all the numbers off your "friends" phone then just cold call them all??

I had ignored the call about 8-10 times, they never left a message - but today i answered, curious.

It took about 5 seconds to auto connect to a call operator, i explained im on a business contract just signed in July this year and thats it. I'm removed from the call list.

It's always better to answer the phone find out who it is then hang up.

Omg! This number has called me 8 times today so far and it's not even mid day yet! So annoying! I had a contract with them like 4 years ago on a different number and a different network! God knows how they got my number now!

I'm getting 3 calls a day on average from this number, it's so annoying and pointless.

Just got called by this number. I picked up, but nobody spoke. I just heard a buzz of background chatter, and that 'All I Ever Wanted' song by Basshunter playing in the distance. I can handle nuisance calls. I can handle answering the phone to find nobody on the other end. But if you play Basshunter down the phone to me, I can't be held responsible for my actions.

This number is def PHONES4U, prob your contract come to an end and will offer you an upgrade or you may have enquired something on their website.

I recently stopped working for phones 4 u, and this is a real pain.  When they sell a contract in store, they get the customers to give them some referrals for their friends/families, and then they pester them for a contract. They often offer financial incentives or free gifts to get the customers to provide more numbers. However, if you need a contract, you should speak to them...they offer some huge amounts of cashback on deals if you haggle, cos they are so massively targetted.
