unsure who or why this number is calling me

This number called just after 8:20 this morning let it ring 4 times and put phone down. I do not know who they are or what they wanted.

Called by this number at 9.06 on 19/12/08 on my mobile.  It rang a few times but cut off before I could answer it.

This number is a firm of solicitors - Silver Beck (or something similar). I only know this as they have been appointed to help me, should it be necessary, by my car insurance company after my vehicle had been hit whilst parked outside my house. I've not spoken to them yet - but I assume they are going to be looking to see if they can sue for something, anything - otherwise why would they be involved when nobody was in my vehicle and the other driver admitted responsibilty - and there are independant witnesses.

Number calls my landline at least twice a day. I do not pickup as I suspect a telemarketer or scam

yes this number is for a company called Silverbeck Rymer. They are associated with swinton insurance.

this number called me at 8.12pm on home phone with TPS!! left no message but i have no idea why they called. will wait for developments!!

11.2.11 just called me again!! still no message left!!

these are indeed silverbeck rymer solicitors but they are ambulance-chasers, they specialise in 'have you had an accident and it wasn't your fault?' claims. waste of time

What are these lot doing?

Quindell Legal Services working on behalf of Swinton Insurance.  No fault insurance claim company following an accident I had which was not my fault.  They are dealing with my claim rather than using my own insurance underwriters.  

It's a solicitors scam, called after receiving other calls telling me I could claim compensation for an accident which I had in my car, the only thing was that I have never had an accident and they are ambulance chasers just trying to scam people. It was entertaining for me to wind them up and waste their time.

hi mate its a solicitors, they are one of those no win no fees, they got me 1800ponds totally out of the blue, someone hit my car, i got a sore neck and back, did not go or report it to doctors, hospital or police.  Got my car repaired, self medicated and thought that was the end of it, then they called about 8months later and got me 1800pounds, do not know how much they got but i was perfectly happy.  One strange thing was i do not know how they got my details and details about the accident, i have now learned the insurance companies sell them peoples info.  If you just answer tell them not to call they will stop calling.  Hope this helps.

They are solicitors. Be careful about ringing back, it does cost quite a lot of money
