they said i was mr carr which am not,they were rude so just hung up

very rude lady, pushy from the start trying to sell cheaper PDQ machines.

This was an impertinent call by someone trying to interest me in processing chip-and-pin credit cards, and, as usual, addressed me without know who I was by my first name.

Asked for business owner. I asked what it was regarding. They went on about accepting credit cards and point of sale machines until I said No Thankyou, then they simply hung up.

"Can I speak to the business owner?"

"Sorry, we're not allowed to pass calls up coming in on these lines due to high volume of telesales calls"

"We're not telesales"

"Then what is the nature of your call?"

It's these people, trying to see you card machines/merchant accounts to take card payments. They never leave a message (we don't answer the phone, just field all calls and call genuine callers back!).

You obviously gave them a hard time they have a job to do too! They actually sorted me out a really good deal.

Kinda your loss really-theres loads of good deals if you listen to the poeple that phone you.

0845 241 9960 Retail Merchant Services in Milton Keynes. I telephone them back and told them to remove my number as they phoned twice in two days and were told we were not interested!

There may be good deals but they are significantly exceeded by the number of rubbish deals and scams. Unsolicited calls are the bain of a lot of peoples lives and the scum that make them have no regard for privacy and have a flagrant disregard of the Telephone Preference Service.

Have now received 2 calls from this number and both times they have hung up as soon as I have answered.  Going to call them to get our number removed.

Call centre looking to book appointments to discuss credit card payment processing - endless questions when I said we weren't interested!

This number keeps calling my mobile, very annoying!

There is not enough time to listen to every sales caller. We get at least 10 every hour, If we needed the product we would have found it ourselves anyway.
These sales calls just waste precious business time.
Its not the caller that is the problem its the company employing them to waste all our times.

Rung me twice this morning. 2nd time actually went to leave a message only for the message to be "oh its an answer machine" and hung up. Oh dear is all I can say to that message.

Battered my phone this morning, refused to answer just. The audio message left by mistake was a telesales rep speaking who forgot to hang up.  Barstewards!

They keep calling then hanging up when I answer. Idiots

They continually call me on both my work phone and my mobile, so now they either dont get answered or get hung up on straight away.

They called 3 time today.

Does anyone else find it a bit strange that the guy who is defending them is on this site if he has no problem with them, why is he looking up their number on a site that lists Nuiscance callers?
