Usual crap!  Jim Smith (no more Jim Smith than I am) rang to say the insurance on Sky had run out.  Funny that, considering Sky have just had their money last month.  Even better, the hubby is a Sky engineer (box and dish) so wouldn't need to worry anyway.

Oriental Lady asked for my wife saying our Toshiba TV warranty had run out and they would insure TV - told her my TV was not a Toshiba -she  requested make and model . I told her my TV had a warranty in place with the supplier and Hung up.

Said his name was Max and he was calling from Appliance Secure. My satellite insurance had run out. I told him it was insured by a reputable company thank you. Goodbye. I hung up. Have registered with tps  but an increasing amount of nuisance calls are coming through on my landline.

cold call from this number about the expired warranty on my Sony TV.

My Sony TV broke down and was replaced about 30 years ago!

We are from Sky TV your insurance policy  is up would mind but the insurance is up to date

GEM: Is that the 5 year warranty.
Caller: Yes
GEM: Well no thanks as the TV is now at least 7 years old now, (your a bit late).
GEM:TAKE ME OFF YOUR DATABASE.
This is a TPS registered number, you are not the original seller of the TV or the original supplier of warranty so should not be cold calling this number.

Rang re the warranty on my Panasonic TV - costing only £90 for a year and his manager came on the line

Went to answer and they hung up did not leave a message.

None, did 1471, won't stop ringing, just hangs up.  Seems like a scam to get you to ring back.

Had a silent call from 08452861641 - if they call again I will tell them that I am with the tps and tell them to p... off!

Complaints about silent calls are best addressed to OFCOM.

Nathan called re my television warranty - when I arrived back at the 'phone with my bank card (which took a few minutes) he had hung up.

I am fed up getting calls from this number, when asked to comfirm my name they then hang up. they are a bloody nuisance!!

Tried to persuade me that my television was in need of another 12 month warranty.  Nuisance

Have not answered any call,so no idea who is calling on a daily basis.Up to 8 calls a day.

Thank goodness I use a call blocker.

This number rings everyday and hangs up when I answer

Male called asking for my wive said she was out he then gave my name and told me that the warranty had expired on my small kitchen TV he gave me the make of it ask how much it would cost (i never buy extended warranty)he said £50 for year i stopped him and said the TV was 3 years old and only cost £99.99 I then gave him a lot of strong verbal abused i am 77 years old and can do without this sort of rubbish.
