second call from this number,  one ?Friday morning and now one this morning. Didn't answer either as I don't recognise the number.

Please NEVER call my number in future.

You need to make that notification direct to the offending business and not to a nuisance call forum for it to have any legal effect.

Or indeed any effect, legal or otherwise. Posting on this forum is just a slightly more sophisticated version of sticking a card in the window of your local shop for local people. Oddly enough, there was one such this morning which caught my eye and may even have referred to a scam caller. It read: "A murder is announced."

I get calls from this number all the time, but I don't pick up as there doesn't seem to be anyone on the other end?

How do you know " there doesn't seem to be anyone on the other end?" if you don't "pick up" exactly?

claims chasers for airline flight delays.keep you on line for several minutes with some automated messages but charge an excessive phone call charge.Do not return call to this number.

Unsolicited spam: recorded message from a slimey company claiming you may be entitled to a free boiler replacement. I only have to press 9 to be removed from their call list. Thanks but no thanks, a'holes, I shouldn't be on your list in the 1st place. Another example of why the UK telecoms regulator is an ineffectual laughing-stock.

unsolicited call telling me I may be entitled to compensation for an accident I may have had according to their records (no accident has occurred to my knowledge!!). Press 5 to speak to advisor for 2 mins or 9 to stop calls. I dont think so. No company name mentioned so cant contact them to complain.

Left msg about making your home more energy efficient. By sounds of voicemail left it's for home owners but I don't own mine. Called up number and says it's compensation.

This number has been calling me everyday (except weekends) for the past week. Haven't answered any of them but very annoying!

Had a call on a mobile from this number 30th March 2016 at 11:05AM. Didn't get a chance to answer but checked it out on WhoCallsMe and it is a known rogue number.

This whole disease has spread to mobiles now as well. I have registered the number with the Telephone Preference Service but they don't actively pursue offenders. They are supposed to make over £1 million in payment from companies wishing to be legitimate and placed on the filtered calls list but they are totally ineffective when it comes to pursuing anyone - as are the Information Commissioners Office.

I, rather naively, perhaps, believe in reporting the offences on WhoCallsMe as it builds a case against them and against the agencies like the TPS and ICO who are supposed to be the regulators. One day there may be a proper enforcement agency with the powers and resources to make a difference but at the moment that is a pipe dream - the political will is not there.

I am called by this number every weekday morning. I don't return the calls but it is becoming irksome.
