this number is Alderley's Advertising Agency, that claim to be doing advertising for Streetsafe Publications.

I have been inundated with several calls from Rachel Baldwin claiming to be the legal department.

As I have no proof of this company saying what they are doing, BEWARE!!

I believe it is a scam, like a majority who have contacted me.

As above, except she calls herself Rachel Brown and they have sent me a fictitious invoice for £499 for something I paid for already last year in full, for an advert for Emergency Services News. Trading Standards assure me they are scammers so definitely BEWARE!! If they call you, report them to Trading Standards and fraud prevention...

Yup same here.  Saying I placed an order for advertising at a time my company hadnt even started trading.  They've issued an invoice in their name plus tried it on again as LDM Solutions - both invoices for Emergency Services / Crime Prevention publications.  In our area they reckon its for an advert to appear in a magazine for Frimley Park Hospital - who, when contacted know nothing about it.  Plus Alderleys were only incorporated July 09.  Defo scam, have treported to Trading Standards a couple of times, not sure they're doing anything about it though!  BEWARE!!

I originally agreed to advertise with Weinstein Williams (they have taken the money, but haven't actually done any work), then Alderleys called to say "my leaflets are ready", so agreed that they should send it out (at the time it wasn't clear that it was Alderleys, I thought it was WW), so an invoice came. I paid it for them as I did say to send the leaflets out, but I thought that was the original one from WW. I should have known better, but I really didn't have the time to deal with this. Anyway grey area, but now LDM Solutions have called and sent me am invoice for something I haven't ordered at all, haven't even heard of them before... Alderleys is a registered company but I have a hard time finding LDM solutions, there is LDIC Group registered at the address they have given. My next steps will be trading standards on Monday... BEWARE!!!

I have same problem with these companies. Trading standards told me its a trade to trade issue and they can not deal with it. I have LDM now sending me letters of litigation and court proceeds commencing as i have not paid an invoice for something i did not agree to. Has anyone else had court threats to them?

Hi i originally had loads of calls and bills for adverts from alderleys,they first off did,nt put vat on invoice when i pointed this out it took them six more invoices to work the correct vat out, obviously i,d realised it was a con as  they did,nt even know how to write an invoice,a women kept ringing an i told her the cheque was in post she got fed up eventually,then i started receiving invoices from ldm solutions,the first of which i sent back writing do one on it,now a Tony Baldwin sent a threatening letter about court action an bailiffs,my partner rang him an told him to get on with it so we are now waiting,mr Baldwin if you read these messages i,d be very careful as you have no idea who you could be trying to scam

I get loads of these companies trying it on (Alderleys, Clear Sky communications, LDM Solutiuons, Safetywatch, Eden falls and a few others etc).

Unfortunately my company paid one in the past and this means we probably got put on a "Suckers list"
Some where taking the money direct from our credit card without us knowing. We've informed the Credit Card company and they have sent us reclaim forms to fill in. However even after cancelling our card and getting a new number one scammer still managed to take money. The CC company where useless so I've cancelled the credit card altogether. Now as these scammers cant get any money I've been getting loads of letters including from LDM now saying they are going to start litigation and court proceeds.

I hope they do, I'd love to meet them in court so I could get my hands on them. Somehow I think that they wont go through with it.

My advice is to send them a letter telling them politely to "f*** off" then ignore them. After a while most give up harrassing you.

IF, but only if, you've actually fallen for a scam from LDM Solutions and lost money as a result, you should report it to the local police. If you refer the police to this web site they should hopefully contact me and I may be able to help them track down the scammers. And LDIC are a real and long-established company wholly unconnected to this scam

When all is approved centrally through my HO and NEVER at store level.
