My husband recived the below yesterday, but was suspicious due to the email address it was sent from and the fact that a big company like Lidl is asking for payment for a crb check. Also the grammar was unprofessional and the contact details was minimal. I found this website today after researching which has confirmed by suspicions. I have reported the email to Lidl and hopefully they will be able to do something about it.

My son who has been looking for work received the same email, only I gave him the cash because I thought it was real, it's only when they asked for another £50 that I realized there was something not right in it.

This person or people are preying on people who need a job and it needs to be reported so they can be caught.

I want to know who can this be reported to.

My son is devastated he hasn't got a job and I feel really bad for not picking it up earlier
