Sensis is getting really desperate....

It is a scam number they ring you answer they hang up.

Do not ring them back.

Just rang my work phone. No one answered. Straight to block numbers.

this number keeps calling me. when I answer it hangs up

receiving a call everyday for at least 3 days, just added it to my reject call list

I think we need to hook this number up with another company doing the same thing
that way they can chat

another approach is to find the head office, phone and have a chat
if everyone did that , they would soon stop
the problem is, I don't know which company is calling me

I did that for a company spamming email , the exec I talked to made sure I did not receive an email again

Calls every day at various times, it is Sensis (Australia) checking the contact details. They should update their computer that calls to say so, rather than calling and hanging up when we have introduced ourselves. Sensis - please only have this happen once - not multiple times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is Sensis - I called the number back.

When you call back this number it is SENSIS and it is not just to work out who and what number work.  They want to sell you crap that you don't need.  Call them back and request your number be removed from the list.

Yellow Pages Online checking details.  

It's not a scam.  It's not illegal as you have given them your details so it's "ok" for them to call.   Legally... Morally..... well, some people think they have a right, when it's been made clear by nearly every man/woman under the sun/moon,  NO BODY LIKES COLD CALLERS. SO DON'T BE SURPRISED WHEN YOUR TREATED LIKE THE POO YOU ARE WHEN YOU ANNOY THE HELL OUT OF STRANGERS.

It's like taking a job in a trawler and complains about the smell.  Comes with the territory.  

Bloody number rings numerous times a day.

This number rings me every couple of days and hangs up on me before I could take the call.

They have been calling me for nearly a month but I keep missing the calls. Just got off the phone too them and it is sensis yellow pages and I had previously had my mobile number as a business contact and they wanted to check if it was still a contact for my business or was now just a personal number. They were very polite and when I informed them that I no longer was using the number for business purposes they went in a amended the records to take all 3 business and my phone number off the register and confirm that my number is just for personal use now.
