- nariawell these barstewards (delete letters as applicable) as still rining me. its a company called central recoveries who deal with the AA, i cancelled my AA service 5 months ago and it was paid to date but no they have decided i owe them £56 and have given them no reason as to why im withholding this.

- lisaHad many calls from them. If you cancel an AA policy they will still charge you for the whole year even if you bought insurance elsewhere. They will say you owe about £140 or whatever because of the terms and conditions on the policy. They will get this company to try to get the payment off you. Just tell them "take me to court" - they won't. Don't let them intimidate you!
- Caller: Central Recoveries for the AA
- Call type: Debt collector
- WillowYip, AA collections. Trying to pursue charges for a whole year on a policy I cancelled when I dont even live in that house anymore. Also charged me £24 for cancelling my direct debit. Apparently that's against their "rules".

- Mike H.Many calls over the past few days wanting my personal details (Data Protection). I refused unless the callers identified themselves and why they were phoning me. Finally told by caller that I would be receiving a letter which arrived today from AA Insurance demanding £48.49 or else. I phoned them and told them that I had not renewed in January as they had increased the premium by nearly double and that I had arranged alternative cover and that I had phoned, at the time, to inform them. The agent then checked my account and found that I had telephoned as I said and she could not understand why I was being harassed by callers. She assured me that she was cancelling the demand and that I would not receive any more calls. No apology offered for the stress and inconvenience.
