Who is calling from this number (which I am being charged for) and why? Please help identify.

My bill is showing calls from the above number. I do not call this number and  yet I am being charged each time this appears, sometimes twice at exactly the same time, and each minute thereafter. One day this number appeared eight times within three minutes, each time I am charged. This has to be a scam and must be stopped.  Why is BT not blocking this? I have queried BT billing department but they were very unhelpful. They say I must wait until I get next quarter's bill and speak to them again. Why?   By that time the owners of that number will have racked up my phone bill and presumably I will have no redress.  Considering it took me about 6 minutes to get to speak to someone at BT what is going on????

If you have an ADT telephone monitored security system, 08712005086 is the number called by the system when it is being serviced. Usually you will find around 4 calls registered during the service period. It's annoying being charged 22.5p for 7 seconds each time, but ....................

According BT bills My phone is DIALING numerous times To 08712005086 from 2/8/2020 to 23/7/20 for a total of £164.36. No body here has called this number I therefore need to know details about this number. Thanks
