    This number has been automatically dialling out from our line up to 26 times over one 24 hour period, day & night, running up our bill.

    We have just discovered it is ADT alarm company.

    The number belong to some automated device connected at customer home
    It can be for an alarm or for any gaming device… or similar sort of other device… customer is not dialing out this number .. the device is dialing this number

    To avoid charge cust need to remove that device from landline..

    08712005094 has appeared on my BT bill or the past 10 weeks, at 03.11 a.m. each time, at a cost of £0.125. Clearly I'm hardly likely to make these calls. It has been reported twice to BT customer service who were useless. They had no answers. Then I requested a broadband engineer who called (from Open reach) he too was baffled. Told me to request a BT investigation, but it's soul destroying trying to get through to the right dept via the customer services. Any help to get this removed greatly appreciated.

    I am charged for a call made from my BT line every night at precisely 03.11am! for the past 10 weeks at a cost of £0.125 per call
    But BT are hopeless in solving this, so any help greatly appreciated. It appears to come from my computer to my phone line, we hea nothing.

    If youread through the posts above yours there might be some clues.  Onne possible cause is a house alarm which "reports inn" to show it is working.

    This happened to us for a few days. It was due to a nearly flat battery in the ADT alarm. When the battery was replaced the calls stopped.

    I am having the same problem. I have an ADT alarm system. I think this a fault in their system. Why should I pay these phone calls which cost £20 a month when I don't even know how and why  these calls happen. Will I be eligible for a refund?

    We are now having charges from bt ref this number...guess what we are with adt alarms to. I am logging a complaint to adt. Anyone else done this and had a response?

    Did you get any satisfaction from ADT?  I have just discovered I have the same problem -161 calls out in 1 month!
