- bridgethis number has called me several dozen times and doesnt leave a message - when i called to asked them to stop i got a voice recording for Adam internet.
seriously annoying - Niall O'Dwyer| 2 repliesA nice sounding woman with an Australian accent called my mobile from this number asking for my wife by name. I thought that it was our health fund, so I gave her my wife's mobile number without questioning the caller. When you call the number back you get a message that sounds like the "Adam Internet salvage network". When you explore the menu system you get more messages from the same voice talking about network outages. It is a weird type of SPAM.

Got a call from Adelaide claiming to be from Microsoft about my computer... REPORTED!!!
I let the caller speak first after a short pause ( I receive a lot of Robo calls), a lot of static on the phone when I answered. The caller asked for me by name & said he was from Microsoft & had an Indian accent. He started talking about “my computer...”, and I cut him off by saying I don’t have a computer mate but good try! & hung up. The call came in at 6:38pm today. 20 November 2020.
Suspect that the same number called me on Monday 16 November 2020 with the Telstra internet disconnection scam Robo call with no caller id.

- NathanI received a call from this number at about 1pm purporting to be from Visa's security and fraud department. The caller, a woman, stated that they had detected two suspicious transactions on my account at 4 am this morning: one to eBay of $300 and one as a Western Union transfer of $1,100 to a person in New Zealand. The call was very convincing: both the woman and her purported supervisor, a man, cracked jokes about how it appeared suspicious that the Western Union transfer was supposedly in relation to COVID-19 relief funds (given how well New Zealand has managed the pandemic). When asked to which card the transaction occurred and why it did not appear on my internet banking, I was advised that (a) they could not release card numbers, even the last four digits; and (b) the transactions did not appear on internet banking because they had been held up. I became suspicious when the purported supervisor asked me to go to the Android play store to download an app, but the call cut out before he could explain why it happened. I subsequently googled the number, which appeared here, and called by bank, which confirmed that this was a sophisticated scam and that they've recently switched from citing Amazon to citing Western Union as the suspicious transactions. The call also intermittently appeared on my phone screen as 'Adam Internet'.
- Caller: Purported to be Visa; appeared on phone as 'Adam Internet'
