Missed call at 6.10 this morning! Checked here first so will not be calling back. It must be a scam. Surely there's a way of reporting these people?

My mobile rang once at 03.47 uk time. Shot out of bed as thought it might of been a call about may mam who was Ill in hospital.It turned out it was 08717034542. I've had about 7 of these calls in the past 4 months. My mobile network said there is nothing we can to to stop it.I asked How did they get my number and was told they just ring random mobile numbers.

I think they're testing random numbers to make a number database, which is why the call never rings (as its only connected for a second). Sneaky S.O.Bs.

got a call from this number at 01:40 am, hmmm smells like a scam me thinks.

got a missed call from this number on 18/08/2009 at 22.43.  dont return 0871 numbers. Thought Id google the number and got onto this site.
