I get about 6 or 7 calls a day (withheld) telling me that i must register my energy meter with this company "Commercial Energy Registrations". I simply ask for their company registration number from companies house, i remind them that they are legally obligated to inform me of this before i exchange any information with them. THEY HANG UP. Short term resolve, but they are still a nuisance. Asking them what they are wearing in a pervy voice sometimes works too.

just had a look at all the comments on here and everything thats been said, i have been harassed by this company for the last 8 weeks! am at the end of my tether!! have called ofgem who passed me to the citizens advice who passed me on to the information of commissioners office! still no joy, who the hell can you contact to get them to STOP? either that or am buying a whistle! sorry for the rant x

That is a summary of the situation with ALL such nuisance calls these days.    There is no regulator willing or able to take action.       The subject was raised at Prime Minister's Question Time in Parliament only yesterday (15 Oct) and David Cameron acted as if the existence of nuisance calls was news to him.

In short, we are on our own.      Whether it is a whistle or (of greater use ) a call-blocker we need to take our action action to stop nuisance calls    You will NOT get help from anywhere else.          Remember that when the political parties come knocking before the next election.

ok folks just spoke to my telephone provider they said if you get a call from the commercial union no/nos, hang up and call 1477 within 10 mins of the call this logs the nuisance call to the police and if you get a certain amount they will investigate them, hope this helps x

Not this number but several other ringing from eastborne  pontefract sheffield dudley and scotland same old crap not got a registered meter i have just changed suppliers for my location or just taken over the business i let them say it all then point out im a mobile catering unit and have on board supplies of gas and electricity tell you they are taking you off the list but its crap the ring you again regardless

Its a scam id say you will get asked for a fee to register might let the next one ask and i will up date this

Apparently they are Approved Energy. They claim to be able to get small to medium sized businesses better energy rates when their contract ends. I suspect I'll also be annoyed by multiple calls as I have already had 3 today.

The business I work at was called today by Jermyn Williams, who gave me this number to pass onto our boss. He claimed to be from DBC International and wanted to review our energy contract on behalf of EDF, however the only piece of information he could give me was an incorrect account holder name - did not have an account number and refused to send me any information about our account to pass onto my boss until he had spoken to my boss over the phone. Clearly this is a scam of some description.

Received a call from this number, claiming to be Sebastian from SME Solutions. Strange accent and asked for an employee only by surname then claimed they would be expecting the call!
