I have received a message from this number, and would like to know if I should respond?

Well, if you consider the fact that no one except you and the sender knows what this message said then how do you expect anyone to give you advice?

I received an SMS from this number saying that why are you not answering the with my on and saying that I am on this list for pressie I really don't know what this guy trying to scam i didn't click the link.

I received a msg telling me my package is pending at my local store. What store I have no idea. I also received the same msg fm 0872408768
A big scam and I will be blocking the number

I keep getting same messages about a parcel etc. from this number but am NOT taking a chance and clicking on the link... Can't recall entering anything so sorry for whoever it is

Read the other posts. This is a scammer trying to lure you into replying or click on any links what were sent.
Reputable companies or people who are sending you a package would be happy to identify themselves in any text they send.
