I got a call from this number

Received a call from this number and tried calling back but it keeps giving a beep beep tone.  Who and what is this about?

This number keeps on calling me!! Because the number is unknown to me I refuse to answer. I did try phoning the number from a Telkom line. It either gives you the engaged tone or voicemail. And it is ALWAYS during working hours. This number phoned me AGAIN today. This type of harresment is unexceptable.

PLEASE PLEASE!!!!! Can anybody tell me who is phoning? I am getting miss calls on this nr 0833501518. It started 05 November and it is nearly everyday and sometimes it is twice a day. Every time I want to pick up they drop the call before I even can find out who is harrasing me.

It sounds like you could use a call-blocker.

If the calls are to your landline, contact your service provider. If to your smartphone, look in your app market for free call-blocking apps (Mr. Number is really good if you have an Android phone and live in the US). Also have international calling, third-party providers and premium SMS blocked on your phone.
If you have a pre-paid credit phone, look for the domain name of the website that the SMS is coming from, for example, http://www.website.com and write it down. Go to your public library, and use one of their computers to look it up. Go to the privacy page and look for instructions to unsubscribe, and follow the directions exactly as written (if this is a third-party provider, they will give you a code that you text back to them to unsubscribe). The reason for using the library computer is so that no malware will be downloaded to yours. Also check your phone bill, in case you are being charged for the calls so you can dispute them with your service provider.

Seriously, if they are from a legit company, this is extremely unprofessional. The fact that when the number is called back, it is a number that appears not to be valid, which makes the telephone number, 0873501518 a spam number or someone trying to get banking details.

My suggestion is that if you got a call from +27 (0) 87 350 1518 - DO NOT ANSWER and DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION! They are Fraudulent and trying to gain access to your personal information (Identity Theft)

You bunch of incompetent idiots, that is a call center number meant only for outgoing calls. Its a company calling on behalf of Absa Rewards. They dont ask you for any of your full information and the last for numbers of your account is useless, they cant rob you with it you idiots. Do your research first, before you ruin other peoples job [***]

So why do you get yourself all worked up? call centres have proved to be untrustworthy. so stop insulting other people who are trying to protect what belongs to them and thanks for the info anyway because the fools called and left no messages

This number is constantly calling and I always seem to miss the call. Its really getting annoying.

What a charming way of answering customers, no? Very well done, ABSA Rewards.  This is exactly what is wrong with customer service in this country.  While I agree that the call centre agents are only doing their job, there is a fine line between doing your job competently and harassing someone four times a day, every single day of the week.

Just an FYI - if a customer has opted out, it is against the law to continue contacting them, and should this continue, serious steps will be taken in this regards - oh, and ABSA Rewards, consider yourself reported for your "wonderful" sense of customer service.

this missed call comes from which company?

I also received calls from this number and it's a Travel Agent enquiring about booking in my Guest House.  Nothing untoward at all.   Very nice people in fact.  I would guess the number is a premicell in which case one wouldn't be able to call it back.

This number called me on Friday, 4 October 2013 at 11:34, she was promoting a new product she said they have at Sanlam, when I tried to call the number is giving a beep beep tone, I am so worried because I confirmed my account number which she had it already.

087 350 1518 belongs to Private Label Promotion (Pty) Ltd, a callcentre in Randburg who are providers of Value Added Services on behalf of various corporates that contract their contact centre services. They have an outbound call centre team who are supplied customer databases from these clients and will then contact you in order to offer you various products and services. If you have been contacted by this number you are safe to answer the call.

Also just recieved a call from this number. Saying their  a company (think the name was "get"... I something) calling on behalf of the Cell C rewards department and wanted to speak to my husband on my number. I told him if he was calling on behalf of Cell C he'd have my husbands number , where by he then gave me my husbands id number and postal address.  I then gave him my husbands number, which was rather stupid of me.  Called my husband and told him to weary in anycase.

I received a missed call from this number on 29/11/2013, 11:57 - the call was only missed, though, as it rang for all of 2 seconds which is barely long enough for someone to answer a call, particularly one from an unknown number.

Helo I got a missed col from this number 0873501518 for like 3 days when I try to call it from my cellphone or landline its always engaged, can someone please help find out where iz it from?
