DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL FROM 09190560630. She's claiming that she's from Citibank PH and her spiel comes with "Hi, this is *random name* from Citibank, please be advised that this is a recorded line. This call is just to reconfirm your application..." And she talks too fast, I have no time to even answer her concerns. Gladly, I didn't gave any information. When she called me, she's insisting registered a company number on my application which obviously I didn't. When I refused to agree with her, she proceeded with the closing spiel and dropped the call. REMEMBER, when you call Citibank, they will verify all your personal details such as complete name, birthday, registered contact number and email address. I called her multiple times, as in 20x, but she keeps on dropping it. LOL. Just to be safe, I called Citibank to verify my application and they confirmed that YOU SHOULD DISREGARD THIS KIND OF CALL. BE CAUTIOUS. HOPE YOU CAN ALL READ THIS.

This is so odd! They only started calling though after I tried applying for Citi’s credit card. If they confirmed that this number is a scam how come it only calls applicants? Is our data being leaked by Citi?

How do you know that only "applicants" are being called?

Same here these three numbers kept calling me. I blocked it already.

Receiving a call every 9am

Received a call also from this number claiming to be a Citibank employee offering credit card. His name is Dale Bagay but he is asking me for my exisiting credit card number. I ask why he would need that and how do I know if its not a scam. He started explaining other details then when asked again about the credit card I said I didnt bring it with me. He said he’ll send me an email regarding the application.

A day later he called again and asked me if I received the email, I said no. He said he’ll send it to me again and I’ll be asked to install something.

Looks like legit but sounded like a scam

09190560630 - same number keeps calling, then I answered one time told them to call next day. They did anyway, and its suspicious since normally, bank call using telephone number most time and random caller name (customer service), unlike this number.

You told them to call you back the next day and they did and you think that is suspicious because they did what you asked them to?  If you go to a restaurant and order a hamburger and they bring you one is that suspicious also?

This number keeps calling average thrice a day..If i call the number, no response.

Just applied Citibank credit card and am awaiting for the approval. Is this part of Citibank process?

After several missed calls I was able to receive the call, she said her name was a certain Ms. Bonifacion & she's from Citibank. She's asking for email, but I replied to ask why the bank was doing this via mobile random number. I said better call me through a landline associated w/ the bank before I can diclose personal info.

This number calls me everyday and I didn't answer until today. She claims she's from UnionBank. It's a scammer.
