    Had same prob 17 seconds I answered for on sat night o2 charge was 1.70 got a refund and asked them to forward it onto there fraud team or inform police. Well annoyed!

    Same here, 09825230523 and been charged £3.70 by O2.
    Calling them as it amzing how we are all O2 customers.  Someone from there must be giving our numbers out.

    My iphone recently attempted to call this number for no reason.  I've had this problem before so I've had all premium rate numbers barred.

    I highly recommend you call o2 and get all premium rate numbers barred from being made from your phones.

    ps my phone is not jailbroken.

    I accidentally hit an ad (the ad was by admob) whilst browsing an app on my iphone and it started dialling the number. Not sure how much it has cost me yet! :o(

    I was called twice today on my 3Gs iphone which answered the calls automatically. Have applied a Premium bar via O2

    HAPPENED TO ME TOO - APPARENTLY I WAS ON FOR 5 SECS AND it cost 1.70.

    The guy from O2 didn't know anything about it. will be calling them asap and getting that removed from my bill!!

    I too have been charged £2.00 exactly for this call which i defo have not made. I contacted o2 and they said i HAD made a call to that premium number. I was only with o2 for about 18 hours and am not impressed. Next step ..... BBC Watchdog !! Please contact me at rswhitworth@sky.com and i will see what the BBC can do about this.

    this happened when i accidentally tapped an app... oopsy! :/ thought it was someone calling me but realised it's on my outgoing.. think it's something to do with phoning up for your horoscopes cause that's the last ad i remember seeing on the app. the sneaky buggars...

    hi Jann,
    it I believe it depends on who your provider is (Vodafone allow you to bar them but you may have to be persistent with their customer service people). You will have to call them.

    We all have iphones thats why its all o2 and this is actually built in as an advert on an application the bubble wrap one specifically and if you click it you start dialing the number really annoying but not o2's fault
