realy funny number dont know who it is rang my house phone??

dont know who owns this number got a call from them 2day at 4.26pm

Just had this myself.. a few seconds of silence then call stopped.

I've had several calls from this number over the past few weeks, but there's never anyone there.
Is it possible they are trying their luck at getting someone to ring them back and pay a fortune for the privilege? Or by calling them back circumvent any block on cold calling by saying 'we' called 'them'?
Either way I'm not going to be daft enough to try!

Suspicious call trying to sell mobile phone and asking for credit call details including security number. 1471 revealed 109876543210!

Got a call from this number, this is used by one of the scammers which wants people to call them back and end up paying more.

On top of that the owner of this person has created lots and lots of profiles and accounts on different websites to some how publisize something.

My advice, just ignore it..

Received a call from this number - international call I believe - wanting to speak to the owner of the business about online presence and web solutions.  Only wanted to speak to the business decision maker and they definitely were not trying to sell something! A few irritating dumb questions from myself asking what web solutions they had and what they were trying to solve, etc. and they hung up - and heck they caught me on a good day too!

It's a nasty scam. Don't ever call back (which is what most people are tempted to do)- you'll be charged a fortune.

we've had a missed call from this number couple of days ago then the phoned again today (20/11/09)... I answered and pretended that I couldn't hear what they were saying and asked them to call back on my other number which is the number for our local police station.  I don't expect the police to do anything it is one of the only local numbers that I have on the pin board above my desk.

Just about 2 seconds of silence then hung up.

had at least 5 calls today from this number 09876543210 its scarey and I want to no if there is anyway to block these calls
