called me

Called me 3 times, answered the 2nd time to which I got a hang up. 3rd time left a voice mail of a very chilling clock ticking noise, and then the line drops.

Haven't heard from since.

If it's a prank, it's NOT funny. :/

Nvm, turns out it was my friend from out of the country just being stupid over the phone.

Scared the crap out of me, though.

Got a call from 10000, they have my last 4 digits of my SS and my jobs number and saying I need attorney. Then stated they will see me in court.
Who are these people?

Yeah that happened to me too they said i had 3 criminal accounts towards me! bunch of Bull$H!t...

Received 5 calls on my cell number this morning, and 2 on home landline. Caller ID is 10000 and the caller left a message 3 times on cell phone. Male voice, heavy middle eastern accent claims his name is "Alex Anderson" and that the issue is "incredibly time sensitive" and that they need to hear from my attorney of record. Then he leaves no number to call back to.  He made the mistake of calling the house phone. My husband answered. He tried to bully our SSN's and bank account information to make a payment for a "matter" we will be sued under. Of course, my husband told him the call was being recorded by the FBI since we work for the U.S. Government - the guy quickly hung up. SCAMMER!!!

I keep getting calls at work from 10000 - saying that I have federal charges against my social security number and they need to speak with my attorney. fortunately, I work for a law firm - one of the attorneys spoke to them - they would not give him any information - just saying they needed to speak to me.

That is what they are saying to me as well.  that I am in big trouble - have federal charges against my social security number - will not stop calling etc.....

That is what is happening to me.  They have my work number and email address - keep calling saying that I am in big trouble - federal charges against my social security number - will not leave me alone - keep calling and calling.
The number is 10000 - cannot trace it back - message says "out of calling region."
I reported it to the Attorney General's office

Caller ID shows up as 10000 whoever it is has called me 3 times now but when I answer there is no reply. Can't call back the number it just gives me an error message.  What or who is this?

This exact same situation happened to me this morning. That I had three charges against me and they were sending someone to pick me up, he read off the last 4 digits of my social and was trying to get my bank info.  I spoke to two middle eastern sounding men.  It is definitely a scam.

I have been receiving the same call from a middle eastren guy and the 10000 number shows on my phone as well.  They leave the exact same message on my phone. Now at first it freak me out until I google the number and see I'm not the only one getting it. But here the thing I never answer the call so they left me some 661 area code to dial and when you call it you really can't leave a message. So if anyone else is getting a call like this don't answer and see if they leave a number for you to call back and report it to your general attorney

They have called me 8 times today and it's only 1:42pm. I have no idea who it is.

Just got the same calls... middle eastern guy saying I had federal charges against me. Knew last four of my SSN. Called my cell from this number, then called work. Luckily I have an awesome office manager who took the second call and told them they were harrassing me and that we were going to call the police.

Keep getting calls from this number and another number assiciated with it 918 442 0638. Claims to be a mike smith. This guy has a strong indian accent, so definatly no mike smith. He claims i am in a lawsuit and if i dont return his call or my attorny calls it, he tells me "good luck to you as the situation unfolds on you". I reported them to the FBI, local police etc. Also they use a name, Charles burton, once again not very indian.

also have been getting these calls and have been ignoring them.  The have gotten to be a pain but will have to start reporting them as well.
