I have gotten calls from 1101, 1105, 101 in the last 2 days at 11 at night and throughout the day

I got a call from 1105, saying that they were from Windows and that my PC was downloading malicious software and that they wanted to fix it. Of course it is a scam.

I just got off the phone with a dude from this number.he asked to speak to my wife and when I asked who he was he said it doesnt matter who he is just put her on the phone.he called me a m fer and so on.he sounded hispanic and would never tell me who he was,he finally hung up.

That is ridiculous! These types of numbers keep calling me and I don't answer bc I don't want the phone company to charge me for a long distance call or something.

Are you joking.  A cold call from an obviously fake number.  Someone unknown  who claims to be from "Windows".  Not Microsoft, you notice.  This despite the fact that neither Microsoft nor its partners would ever 'phone as it would be a breach of their privacy rules.  Also despite the fact that there is a warning about this scam on the Microsoft website and has been for years.  Why on earth would anyone think it was a scam!!!

Congress needs to act on this subject and malware NOW!  Calls from multiple 4 digit number, 1105 included
