Received two calls from +117809706901, just over a month apart.
Obviously a spoofed number. I answered the second time, and they hung up immediately.

Got a call from this number stating that they were from Telus.  When they said that I left Telus a few months ago that was a red flag because it was years.  When he stated that he wanted to ask me some questions but I told him that if I wanted to go back to Telus I would go at my own time.  I hung up at this point. I also blocked the call

Refused to respond when I answered the phone.

My phone stopped working suddenly, my SIM card no longer functioned and I reached out to my provider Telus and I had a chat bot conversation and they told me what to do, which I did, and it worked. Great. The next day Telus started calling my phone, which I did not answer, since I never requested the call. They never left a message. I ended up blocking them. Then this caller started, which I read from a previous comment that they also had a Telus connection. Be weary of whom you interact with. Nothing is safe anymore.

Same thing happened to me. Got pretty pushy so I hung up. Speaking French helps and frustrates the Indian gentleman.

This number called and hung up.  It's entirely possible that it was a legit call from Telus, but Telus needs to do a much better job of differentiating between their authentic sales people and scam callers - they sound the exact same on the phone.

If you can, block this number. It is a scam . Telus will do nothing to help you. There is nothing legit about Telus unfortunately.

And require their contractors to wear identification and a uniform.

I received call from this number a few weeks apart. I missed the first time. The 2nd time I saw this number marked as Fraud so I didn't say anything. The opposite party hung up immediately

Although the number comes back to a business in Airdrie, the first clue it's a scam is the "11" before the number indicating an international call. Must be new at the fraud game.

They call everyday for the last month.  I do not answer.
