It is from USAA. That doesn't make it trustworthy or legitimate...

USAA had a question about my insurance claim. They wanted more info regarding my prescription sunglasses in order to finish process the claim.

USAA Calling about a claim my wife had filed.

Completely legit call, not a bill collector, nor even a billing department.

I can absolutely confirm that both 1-210-531-USAA (8722) and 1-800-531-USAA (8722) are legitimate USAA numbers and are identified on the company's web site. I am a USAA customer and have received legitimate calls from these numbers concerning my USAA insurance and banking accounts, most recently about an open insurance claim file. (Note: this form needs another option in the "Call Type" list: "Legitimate.")

Legit call. It's USAA calling to give me an update on my claim. It's the same guy I've talked to several times assigned to my case.

Yes this is a number associated with USAA.  They were calling to give an update on a claim

This is USSA Insurance. I have called this number and received calls from this number.  I have had homeowners and auto insurance with them for decade

Left an 800 number to call back, You can verify that number on the USAA web site.

Well, they called me at 5:43 am this morning, I was unable to answer it because as I tried to reach the phone to unplug it, it went flying into the closet.
Had I answered it, they would not have been happy to hear what I had to say.

The number is from USAA.  Not a robocaller - may be a spoofed call - but T-Mo Jeeps blocking.

I did not answer, but they left a partial (recorded) message in Mandarin.  USAA (as other callers claim) has never called me from a non "800" number, and we have recently had a claim with them .... if it was USAA, why would they leave a message in Chinese?

I see posts here stating this is USAA #. However,  I'm not a USAA customer. Feels spammy/scammy to me.
