who is it?

Got a call from a blocked number, said they were from Commonwealth Bank asked immeditely for date of birth and Middle name. Told them I dont have an account. Was reffered to that number with a 7 digit Refference. Dodgy!

Just got commonwealth bank call in from blocked, they knew my first name and state but provided that 1300652249 to callback on when i refused to give date of birth.

I have recieved this call and have called back and have confirmed with general enquires line that it is a commonweath bank number. Also founf out 1300653012 and 1300130107 was also

its commonwealth bank's collection department.

I am getting 4 calls a day from this number (blocked) Same voice for netbanking.. Very dodgy.. Usually if there is a problem with the bank they will notify in person and are obviously more genuine then this bullcrap!

It is the Commonwealth Banks collections number. I called them back after they left a voice message and got a very angry man who kept barking out requests for DOB and account numbers etc. When I gave them, he realised the bank had made a mistake with my account and was very flustered and kept repeating over and over that my account was fine, no apology for the attitude though I'm glad the call was recorded.

This is a SCAM, do not give any details out. Your bank would never call you and request information. It's a scam that's been going on for years now.

My son got a text from this number saying that they are closing his account for commercial reasons? This is a scam not from the CBA .
