Report a phone call from 130-065-6716 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Lesley| 1 replyGot a message of a missed call and a reference number.
It is a company called Recoveries Corp. In my case I had not lodged a fender bender with the NRMA. The other person's insurance company was trying to track me down to do so, used these guys. So all legit.
However, when I called back, they start the call by asking me to confirm my name, address, and mobile. I argued saying why am I giving this when I have no idea who you are or why you are calling? I asked what it was referring to, but the guy with a very strong accent could not disclose until I confirmed my details. It all seemed overseas dodgy! Stupid system. They need to figure a better way to make customers feel safe.- Caller: Recoveries Corp

- Desiree de grootjust had a missed call and returned the call with the referense number they gave me. The lady wanted to identify me trough phonenumber, address and that reference number. they refused to tell menwho they were and why they were phoning me.
- CatherineI had a similar experience to all above. A message left on my mobile number asking me to call 1300 656 716 quote the reference number they left in relation to "a private business matter". When I rang back and they asked me to confirm my name, address etc. I told them I would not be providing them any information unless they told me who they were, and why they were calling. Impasse. I told them there were too many hoax callers and I would not be providing any information until satisfied they were bona fide. They rang again 2 days later and eventually I got out of them that they were Recoveries Corp and that it related to Zurich Insurance. I told them I do not have, and have never had, any business with Zurich Insurance and that they must, therefore, be seeking another person with the same name. I asked them to confirm whether they had a middle name of the person they were seeking. They wouldn't/couldn't say. I told them that my position remained unchanged. I think I might have had another call from them, which I ignored. Today, October 3, I had a call from 0403 822 378 from an Abraham, who said he was calling about a Zurich Insurance matter. I said that I had told his colleagues I have never had any business with Zurich Insurance, that I would not be continuing with the call nor giving them any information, that they should cease and desist, that I was hanging up and I said goodbye and did just that. I have blocked that mobile number. on my phone. Intrigued, I rang the switchboard for Recoveries Corp (having blocked my number from appearing at their end), asked to speak with Abraham's supervisor and eventually was put through to a woman who again asked me for my personal details, to which my response remained unchanged. She then asked me if I'd been involved in a car accident. Yes. She wanted the details of my insurer. I said I was unprepared to give her any information for the reasons I had already provided. I then rang my insurer and it seems the the other party, who had been given my phone number and the name of my fully comprehensive insurer at the time of the accident, had not claimed the costs from my insurer. It seems that the other driver's insurer was trying to recover those costs and had handed the matter over to Recoveries Corp. I instructed my insurer to make contact with Recoveries Corp and, after satisfying themselves that the enquiries were bona fide, provide the required information and instruct Recoveries Corp not to call me again. Mystery solved. But what a bloody palaver.

- LillyI received an email stating this number as their contact number. The email was supposedly from Recoveries Corp, however, when I Googled the company (as there is no reason for a recoveries company to he getting in touch with me and I do not click any links in emails that are suspicious) that number is not listed anywhere on their website. Also, the stated reference number does not contain the relevant number of digits required by the genuine website.
Beware! Any message—SMS, phone call, email—is a SCAM, trying to extort money.- Caller: Scammer
