I have been recieving these too and show up on my mobile phone bill $5.00 for third party charges.  Telstra don't take responsiblity so perhaps they are in on it??????

I am getting a cheque in the mail from them (apparently) to refund the money I have paid in special SMS's that didn't actually arrive in my phone's inbox, nor did I subscribe to any SMS company.

Anyhoo, I have called the ACCC and lodged a complaint and I have also spoken to one of the company's "customer service representative".  OPTUS were able to transfer me to the company.

I've received a bill from Soul and I was getting charged for $30 of 6 sms, i've never send those msg out and when i called to Soul customer care, the consultant told me to call 1300 767 306 as they are the third party who is charging me, who the hell is this company, i've no idea about this and i've never sign up anything with them, Soul told me must be someone using my mobile downloading source..nothing they can do.. what the???? i can imagine one day if i've got charge for  100 sms and i've never use it and then they will say nothing they can do???? can anyone tell me what is this mobile content company??

I have a similar message as  WIN 6th jan 09--- "$6.60 per ringtone service message subscription" to something that I didn't even subscibe to in the first place. I rang the 1300767306 number to put a stop to these few messages that kept coming altho it did say 2pwk (meaning 2 per week). I rang OPTUS the next day to make a complaint and they said that they have nothing to do with it. I am worried about this number that I rang 1300767306, how legitimate it is as it may also be a scam, promising that I have been unsubscribed in my mobile message. I did a search on this number and found that a number of people have been caught in a similar situation. Why can't the authorities do something about these scam? I will report this to Fair trading and consumer watchdog.

I am getting text messages from some fake numbers, my operator Three said me to call this number and tell them stop sending messages, I did that and within one hour again got these messages, It seems to me that these mobile companies like three, they are selling numbers to such companies who are looting innocent people. I got a lots of such messages and near to finish my whole balance.

I am listed on the don't register and still receive this crap......not happy Jan!

Of course I have never even heard of these scammers before, much less visited their scam site.

What can I do to report them?

I also received similar message as "worried and disgusted" above, just a few minutes ago and received 2 subsequent SMS (so, likely I'd be charged 2x6.60... sad)... I called 1300767306, it's an automated voice to unsubscribe only, so I did it anyway (don't know if it works or not, but I do received another SMS for unsubscribe confirmation). Don't know what to do now (I submitted complaint as suggested on ACMA website, though I'm not sure if it will bring any result - seems this company already did it for long).

Received message on my cell number in ()mainthat.com. Message stated that Jimmie would like me to check this site out. This was in Jan 2009. Furthermore I call him Jim and yes after 13 years he likes everything just as is and then some. I have replied to this text message numerous times and of course no reply. I would like to know who sent this and how they know about Jim?????? Not nice people should mind their own!!!!

guys this is where people put your phone numbers and you get huge bills. i was about to put mine but stopped when i read that i will be charged 6.xx $ :@ ;@

Just received my phone bill $20.50 third party purchases not happy. Rang Telsta there were very helpful refunding the money and giving numbers on how to stop it happening again. They are also putting a block on all Premiun third party purchases for this number i hope this works. If you want to stop Mobile Messenger send STOP to 19726646 and keep your fingers crossed that it works.
