I'm pretty sure its Telstra (overseas call centre though)

This is dodgy! Do not give out your personal details! I confirmed with Telstra and they haven't heard of this number so please be careful! Never give out personal information!

I got a call from 1800 022 665 today and the recorded message from Telstra said to follow the prompts if it was actually me... which I did as I assumed it was Telstra... I was answered by an asian/indian(?) lady who wanted to verify my details in order to give me a free sim card as an order with Telstra didnt go through. When I questioned her further she said Telstra were offering a free 500mb sim card due to a faulty order with my phone bundle... she knew my drivers license number, address but wanted my date of birth and to clarify that my details were correct... I told her the wrong year of birth... she couldnt answer a question directly so I asked for her number under the pretense that my phone was going flat. When I was calling the number back... it had the telstra message but the odd thing was that my call was answered straight away... and by a man with the same accent as the lady. I asked if Telstra were giving away free sim cards and right away he confirmed the same words that the lady said... The part that made me reaize it was a scam is that Telstra never answer there phones so quickly!

Definitely a fake. I too got their number to call back, as someone above did, as it sounded shonky and I phoned the listed Telstra number of 13 22 00 and asked and they ONLY EVER give out the 13 22 00 number for any callbacks from any of their call centers and advised me not to call them back.

recieved a call today from them ... telling me tha tmy adsl order is not completed... .and asking my date of birth details and credit card details...

dodgy fake... stay away

This is a scam.

I got a text and message asking to call back 1800022665 and after giving my name and ex girlfriend name, I realised a scam when they asked for Date of birth. Hung up then

this is the number for a legitimate telstra call centre!
